The teaching of ancient poetry is an important part of Chinese teaching in high school,which plays an important role in cultivating students' sentiment and inheriting traditional Chinese culture.However,at present,there are still many shortcomings in the teaching of classical ancient poetry in senior high school,such as students' low interest in learning,rigid teaching content and so on.In order to help the teaching of classical ancient poetry get out of the predicament,the author combines the “theme-based teaching” model put forward by teacher Dou Guimei and based on the theoretical achievements of the theme research of Chinese classical ancient poetry,to explore and put forward the strategies to improve the deficiency of classical ancient poetry teaching.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduces the research origin,research significance and research current situation of this paper and makes a literature review of related issues.The second part is an overview of the relevant theories of theme-based teaching.This part expounds the concept and characteristics of theme and theme-based teaching and discusses the necessity of implementing “theme-based teaching” in Chinese classical ancient poetry in senior high school.It also discusses the feasibility of“theme-based teaching” of classical ancient poetry in high school from the perspective of the standard of high school Chinese curriculum and the study of the theme of Chinese classical ancient poetry.The third part is survey analysis.Through issuing and recycling questionnaires,and analyzing the survey results,we can find out the deficiencies in the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in high school.The main shortcomings are students' low interest in learning,teachers' rigid teaching methods,students' lack of autonomy in learning,teachers' inflexible teaching content,and so on.And the causes of the deficiency are analyzed.The fourth part expounds the strategies of theme teaching in Chinese classical ancient poetry in senior high school.First,the development of the theme is pre-generated.This refers to the classification of ancient poetry on the basis of previoustheories and according to the senior high school Chinese textbooks.The second is to adopt the teaching method of one-article-oriented and multiple articles combination teaching.Third,grasp the theme image and adopt contrastive teaching.Fourth,to create a comprehensive classroom of “theme-based teaching”.In addition,expounds the principles to be followed in the "thematic teaching" of the ancient poetry in high school:the setting of teaching objectives should pay attention to three-dimensional and integrative;the selection of teaching content should pay attention to richness and selectivity;the selection of teaching methods should pay attention to diversity and pertinence;the arrangement of teaching links should pay attention to hierarchy and fluency;the implementation of teaching evaluation should pay attention to dynamics and diversity.Through this paper,the author hopes to improve the shortcomings of the current teaching and provide strategies for reference for the thematic teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in high school.
