A Research Of Teamwork On Misbehavior Of Left-behind Children In Rural Areas

With the development of the society,rural labor force has flooded into the cities,which results in a large number of "left-behind children" in rural areas.There is a crucial period called childhood stage and incomplete families lead to a series of deviant behaviors of children.Social workers who made an in-depth investigation in Y Village learned that there are deviant behaviors of left-behind children in Y village.They hope to help left-behind children improve their deviant behaviors through team activities in Y village.Social workers who edited the questionnaire found that the deviant behaviors of left-behind children from grade 3 to grade 5 are mainly manifested as the problem of emotional control,the difficulty in peer communication,the strained relationship between parents and children and tired of learning.In response to these problems,social workers carried out group service activities for five children,improved the cognitive habits of group members based on cognitive theory,and helped them correct their deviations.Social workers help group members to distinguish their emotions,understand themselves,learn how to communicate well with others,control their emotional behaviors,consolidate their learning outcomes,correct misunderstandings,improve biased behaviors,and master the skills to control their behaviors and emotions.After the team activity,the social workers handed out evaluation forms of mastery of this activity and service satisfaction.According to the score of the team members,the team activity had a good effect,which improved the deviant behavior of left-behind children to some extent.Meanwhile,social workers reflected and summarized the whole process.They called on the society to pay attention to left-behind children,explored the service mode of combining team work and case work on left-behind children,and finally integrated resources reasonably to contribute to the future of left-behind children.
