Ye Jiaying's chanting tune,which is commonly known as ‘Ye's tune'in the field of chanting,is composed of recitation and chanting.It has been regarded as the most representative traditional chanting tune of mandarin.As a representative of traditional chanters,Ye Jiaying has devoted her life to study of poetry and promotion of chanting.Applying Ye's tune in primary schools' classic poetry teaching can help students feel the authentic rhythm of traditional chanting,understand the rich connotation of classic poetry,and thus enhance their interest in learning classic poetry.This thesis mainly employs literature analysis method and case analysis method.It combines empirical analysis and logical analysis.On the one hand,this thesis combines with the research status at home and abroad,analyzes the existing theoretical researches on traditional chanting,Ye Jiaying's tune of chanting and classic poetry chanting teaching.It also analyzes the connotation of Ye's tune and demonstrates the application significance of Ye's tune in the teaching of classic poetry in primary schools.On the other hand,it investigates and analyzes the teaching status of classic poetry in primary schools.At the same time,based on the requirements of the curriculum standard,the characteristics of the textbook and the students' learning situation,it designs Ye's tuneteaching and analyses cases of chanting teaching.This thesis is to explore the specific ways to introduce traditional chanting into the classic poetry teaching class in primary schools.This study is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the research background,states the literature review,and expounds the importance of traditional chanting in promoting the teaching of Chinese classic poetry.The second part introduces the connotation of Ye's tune,analyzes the formation and characteristics of Ye's tune,and expounds the value of inheriting Ye's tune.The third part investigates and analyzes the current situation of Chinese classic poetry teaching in primary schools.In view of the existing problems,it explores the specific strategies to improve the teaching of Chinese classic poetry in primary schools by applying Ye's tune.The fourth part applies theory of Ye's tune to design for differengrades,breaks through teaching difficulties,explores specific steps of Ye's tune teaching,and forms chanting teaching system of Ye's tune.The fifth part analyzes teaching cases of Ye's tune and summarizes chanting teaching points which are applicable to teaching of classic poetry in primary schools.In order to solve problems existing in the teaching of classic poetry in primary schools,the author takes teaching ofYe's tune in two local schools as an example,and make designs for different grades.The designs are about‘chanting tour of classic poetry',‘poetry appreciation'and‘feeling the melody'.According to specific teaching examples of Ye's tune teaching,this paper summarizes teaching points of primary classic poetry chanting and explores specific ways for the promotion of Ye's tune.Due to the influence of social environment,it is still difficult to carry out chanting teaching in primary Chinese class.The author hopes that a series of chanting teaching attempts will provide some help for in-service teachers to study Ye's tune and promote chanting teaching.
