During the Ming Dynasty,the academy became one of the most important periods for the spread of Confucianism.The management of the academy had a relatively complete scale,and the academy's academic rules and teaching contents were clearly stipulated,etc,which were related to Confucianism,and so as to form the academy Integration with Confucianism.Ritual education,as a representative education model in Confucianism,consists of the teachings of ethics,and chanting,which form the content of ritual education,develops the teaching of poetry and music to cultivate the nation.The Yushan Academy,located in Changshu,the hometown of Confucius disciples Yanji(Ziyou)who valued the "rule of string song",Longed for prosperity.Yushan Acedemy attaches great importance to attracting many literati to drink to poems in the form of lectures,the content of which is closely related to moral education.This article intends to sort out and summarize the relevant historical materials of Yushan Academy,and take Yushan Academy as a starting point to explore the content,essential characteristics,singing methods and so on of Yushan Academy's singing activities.Strive to carry out the chanting activities of Yushan Academy to confirm that the chanting education tradition has prevailed in school education since the Qin and Han dynasties.This article is divided into four parts,which are composed of introduction,background chapter,theme chapter and revelation chapter.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the background and purpose of the topic selection,research methods and ideas,and summarizes the literature review for elaboration.The second part is the background chapter,which expounds the evolution of the Ming Dynasty academies and gives a detailed overview of the overall development and context of Yushan academies.The second chapter is a thematic chapter,which mainly describes the methods and forms of Yushan Academy's singing and poetry activities,and describes in detail the development of Yushan Academy's string singing and elegant collection activities.The third chapter is a comparative chapter.Compare Yushan Academy with Yuelu Academy of the Millennium School,find the similarities and differences in the development of the singing tradition,and summarize the lessons that can be learned from the development significance and inspiration of today's music education,and reflect on them.
