Research On The Inheritance And Development Of Dragon Boat Movement In Dao County From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

Dragon boat race has a long history in China,is a grand national traditional sports events,is an important part of China's folk sports.Dragon boat sports have different forms of expression in different regional environments,endowed with unique cultural connotations.Study of Dao county dragon boat movement of the heritage and development,to let more people understand Dao county dragon boat movement,improve Dao county dragon boat sport awareness,promote Dao county dragon boat customs in the process of the national non-material cultural heritage list,to promote the sustainable development of China's folk sports,sports power to enhance self-confidence and national culture construction is of great significance.In this paper,the origin,development process and development status of dragon boat movement in Dao county are expounded by means of literature review,field investigation and interview.Based on the perspective of regional culture,this paper analyzes the inheritance and development of the dragon boat movement in Dao county from the aspects of inheritance mode,structural transformation and cultural connotation,aiming to explore the cultural characteristics behind the dragon boat movement in Dao county,and draws the following conclusions:(1)The dragon boat of Dao county started from the Song Dynasty,developed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,reached its peak in the contemporary era,inherited for thousands of years,and flourished forever.Dao county dragon boat sports events of the large scale,the number of participants,the number of spectators,the shape of the dragon boat is rare,unique.(2)The dragon boat head in Dao county has a unique shape and different colors,which is closely related to the ancestral temples and temples in local village communities.Each dragon head is a village or a cultural identity of a group,see the dragon head will know the village,the dragon head represents the village community,is the cultural symbol of folk behavior activities.(3)Dao county dragon boat is a local folk sports that integrates folk life,fitness,entertainment and emotional expression.It is not only the collective memory of people's life,but also the spiritual yearning for a better life.The dragon boat spirit of unity,hard work and unremitting self-improvement of the dragon boat movement in Dao county plays an important role in building a harmonious society and rural revitalization.(4)Under the trend of modernization of traditional sports,dragon boat sports in Dao county transform from folk sports to competitive sports;In the spirit of material consumption,the dragon boat movement in Dao county changed from folk culture to non-material culture.Under the background of national cultural revival,the dragon boat movement in Dao county has changed from a small local event to a big local event.Multiple dimensions play a role in the inheritance and development of dragon boat movement in Dao county.These opportunities and challenges affect the future development of dragon boat sports in Dao county.
