In his speech to commemorate the 100 th Anniversary of the May 4th Movement,General Secretary Xi Jinping encouraged the majority of young people to assume the responsibilities of the times,to work hard and to be courageous,pioneering and devoting.College students are the builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.They are the main force for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It is of great significance to train college students into new eras with a spirit of struggle.It is necessary to cultivate and study the spirit of the struggle of college students in the new era.Struggle is long-term,concrete,and tortuous.Struggle is a vivid practice of the inheritance and innovation of Chinese culture,and it is also a process of unifying personal and social values.The spirit of struggle is a positive value attitude and value reflection in the course of the struggle,which runs through the production and life of human beings.The cultivation of the struggle spirit of college students in the new era is the need for the transformation of Marxist classic writers 'struggle ideas in China,the need for the contemporary inheritance of the struggle virtues in the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,the further promotion of the Chinese Communist Party 's view of struggle,and the need for the generation and growth of new era universities.In order to grasp the status quo of the cultivation of the fighting spirit of college students in the new era,qualitative and quantitative research methods were adopted.The empirical research is based on the questionnaire survey of six universities in Hunan Province.Empirical research shows that the cultivation of the struggle spirit of college students in the new era has achieved some good results,including the overall recognition of the struggle spirit of college students in the new era.Strong sense of identity,different types of college students have a more balanced grasp of the spirit of struggle,but there are still college students who are not satisfied with the cultivation of the spirit of struggle in colleges.They have insufficient grasp of the content of the era of the spirit of struggle,Lack of practice of the fighting spirit.The reasons for more general understanding are the shortcomings of the struggle spirit of colleges and universities,the influence of bad social ethos,the deviation of family education concepts,and the weak initiative of individuals to receive education.On this basis,the realistic path of strengthening the cultivation of the struggle spirit of college students in the new era is explored,and it is proposed that the goals of cultivation is to improve the awareness and recognition of the struggle spirit of college students,to cultivate newcomers of the era with a struggle spirit.And the task is to guide college students to establish Strive for ambition,to improve the ability to fight,and to practice the spirit of struggle;to enrich the content of the struggle spirit of college students in the new era,to integrate relay struggle,common struggle,tenacious struggle,and arduous struggle;in the construction of the platform for the cultivation of college students' struggle spirit in the new era,we must build a theory Education platform,optimize the campus culture platform,and broaden the social practice platform;To lead the online fashion cultivated by the struggle spirit of college students in the new era,to innovate the "Internet Celebrity" education activities,to build the "Internet Celebrity" counselor team and to set an example of "Internet Celebrity";To enhance the effectiveness of the cultivation of the struggle spirit of college students in the new era,we must create a good family atmosphere,social atmosphere and campus atmosphere cultivated by the struggle spirit of college students in the new era.
