Minors are in a critical period of formation and development of self-concept.During this period,the development of minors' self-concept gradually abstracted and complicated with their age,and gradually formed a perfect structure.Although the minor plasticity is very strong,the development of the psychological function is not mature,in the face of self-concept abstract and complicated development and the influence of external factors.It is difficult to accurately identify the self-concept,especially when their self-concept and experience tension,there is a big gap between self-concept and ideal self.Anxiety and oversensitivity may follow.If not handled properly,it will easily lead to many problems,such as inadequate learning ability,interpersonal barriers,family tension or alienation,adolescent confusion,emotional pressure,Internet addiction and even self-injury,suicide and other issues,which have a far-reaching impact on the growth and development of minors.Therefore,the particularity of the underage self-concept determines that it is necessary to identify the minors' self-concept.Minors are important service targets in children's social work,youth social work,family social work and school social work.Social workers found in the practical process of providing services to minors,as a third party,it is difficult to understand the experience that only minors themselves can obtain,and to identify minors' self-concept.The establishment of service relationships,the setting of service plans,the achievement of service goals,and the effectiveness of service systems have a great impact.Therefore,social workers need to help minors overcome difficulties in the process of self-concept recognition,and assist important others to recognize the self-concept of minors and the impact of their behavior on the self-concept of minors,from the level of family,school,and society,take corresponding measures to promote the development of minors' positive self-concept.This article uses interviews,observations,and case studies to select typical cases among school-age and adolescent minors as the research object,and expounds the analysis of the experience and perception domains of minors from the perspective of the client-centered theory,understand the impact of important events in the family and school,the important experience in interpersonal communication,the evaluation of important others and the important reactions of minors themselves on the formation of minors' perception domain.This paper analyzes the formation of minors' self-concept,and the process of self-development under the tension between the self-concept formed by the symbolic distortion of external values and the self-concept formed by experience and perception.This article discusses the operational strategies of social workers' recognition of minors' self-concept from the perspective of client-centered theory,that is,establishing good professional cooperative relations,achieving empathy,and frankly communicating emotions,etc.to help social workers and Minors establish freely accepted relationships,reduce misunderstandings and contradictions caused by social workers who do not understand minors' self-concept,and stimulate minors' positive self-counselling behavior.
