Research On The Supply And The Demand Of Residents In The Sports Service Of Large-scale Stadiums In Guangzhou

In September 2019,the general office of the state council of the People's Republic of China issued the outline of building a strong sports country(hereinafter referred to as the outline),indicating that China's sports cause has entered a new period.According to the outline,some goals should be realized by 2035,including people who take regular physical exercises reaching 45% and above of the population,people's awareness of exercising significantly enhanced,and the overall planning of venues and facilities for national fitness achieved.Important for holding sports activities,large-scale sports venues bear the mission of the times to offer supply service for the sports cause of China.However,the present services proposed by sports venues in China fail to meet the growing demand of diversified physical exercise.Against this background,this paper conducts a survey about the supply and residents' demand in the sports service of Guangzhou large-scale stadiums and gymnasiums,hoping to enlighten Guangzhou's large-scale stadiums and gymnasiums to optimize the main supply and demand in sports services,so as to promote China's process to become a sports power.In this paper,piles of methods and theories are applied.Methods include literature review,interview,field investigation and case study and theories cover economics,management science and so on.With the theories of participatory development,new public service,market segmentation and Multi-Agent Coordination as theoretical tools,the author makes a comprehensive analysis of the main supply and resident's demand in the sports service of Guangzhou large-scale stadiums and gymnasiums.The main contents are as follows:(1)Expounding the categories of the main suppliers in the sports service of large-scale stadiums and gymnasiums,this paper studies the actual condition of the main suppliers and residents' demand in the sports service of large-scale stadiums and Gymnasiums in Guangzhou,and points out the existing problems.(2)Based on literature research and logical analysis,the author conducted a deep research on Guangzhou Asian Games Town Gymnasium(GAGTG),interviewed the operation entities of GAGTG and consumers and summarized some excellent lessons.(3)This paper puts forward the optimized strategies for the main suppliers and resident's demand of sports service in Guangzhou's large-scale stadiums in terms of service items,project selection,communication platform between venues and residents and inefficiency of system operation.According to the survey,there are some problems existing in the large-scale stadiums.For instance,the services items they offer fail to meet residents' demand for physical exercises and satisfy their need,no available communication between venues and residents built and system operation is not efficient enough.Moreover,by studying the lessons of running GAGTG from home and abroad,this paper proposes that the venues should optimize their supply-and-demand model,build an effective communication platform for all parties to join,improve the quality of services,utilize their abundant resources,strengthen their inner capacity and guarantee suppliers' enthusiasm.Meanwhile,different government departments should monitor residents' demand,discuss and assess positively and adjust their services accordingly.Besides,different apartments should improve their service policies and regulations,strengthen the assessment system of the third party to ensure a clear passage for people to monitor and supervise.
