With the improvement of modern society's requirements on people's comprehensive quality,art design education has gradually come into the public view and become an important subject in design and education research.Art design education is the organic unity of specialty and quality education.In the face of the current lack of culture,cultural integration is one of the development trends of art design education,and local culture is the most close to people's life of cultural resources.There are few studies on the integration of local culture and art design education,lack of support of integrating theories and strategies,lack of design tools to help the extraction and integration of local cultural resources,etc.This paper aims to explore the opportunities and challenges for the development of art design education,and explore more functions of art design education of local culture.The integration strategy of local culture is proposed,the integration process is sorted out,and the integration model is constructed.To develop design tools integrated with art design education and culture,to help art design educators conduct research and practice,to realize the reflection and deconstruction of art design education,reorganization and re-creation,to complete the protection,inheritance and development of local culture,and to promote the development of art design education.This paper first studies the relevant theories of local culture and art design education,and summarizes the elements of local culture and art design education as well as the characteristics and contents of each element.Through investigation,the form,content,approach and trend of local culture integrated into education are analyzed,and the existing problems are summarized.This paper analyzes the necessity and value of integrating local culture into art design education,and puts forward the problems of integrating local culture into art design education.Secondly,it summarizes the previous research and chooses the practical research of integrating local culture into art design education for primary and secondary school education.On the basis of the current practice of art design education in primary and secondary schools,this paper summarizes the existing problems and development trends from four educational elements,namely,the way of education,the content of education,the form of education and the environment of education.At the same time,the psychological basis of students and teachers,as well as the social environment and campus environment foundation are investigated from the internal and external environmental basis.Based on this,the principle of integrating local culture into art design education in primary and secondary schools is clarified.From the three stages of the integration process,principles and methods are proposed respectively to construct the integration model.By carrying out teaching practice,the proposed integration model was tested,and the existing problems and improvement directions in the integration model were summarized.Finally,the integration strategy is proposed,the integration process is improved,and the final integration model and curriculum design tools are summarized.This paper first summarizes the integration strategies of local culture into art design education in primary and secondary schools,mainly from the two aspects of decision-making and ecological construction,and puts forward the following conclusions: The integration of local culture into art design education in primary and secondary schools should improve the design of education system and top-level structure,consider to balance the content and content level of education when making decisions,and define the relationship between the primary and secondary education;In the process of education practice of sustainable development,we should pay attention to the mutual development between students and teachers,educational research and school development promote each other,and construct the social and cultural ecology of local culture and artistic design.Secondly,the extraction of local cultural elements should meet the requirements of comprehensiveness,completeness and timeliness,fully integrate into the form,environment and approach of art design education in primary and secondary schools,and verify the integration model through teaching practice.Finally,an integration model consisting of three stages of cultural elements selection,extraction and integration is constructed to present a complete integration process of local culture,and design tools are developed to help relevant educators design and carry out education and teaching.
