With the acceleration of urbanization and modernization in rural areas,local culture education is becoming more and more popular.The rural schools bear an important educational function.The rural schools play an important role in the dissemination and education of local cultures.The problems of local culture education have really or not entered schools to receive necessary care and how to make local culture be better by the rural school education to heritage and development,which are our urgent concern and need to think about.The putting forward of proposal of urban and rural integration education development plan asks for rural education.Rural schools should make good use of local excellent educational resources to find their own development characteristics and rural culture is the unique and effective resource for rural schools.Then,how about the local culture education in rural schools?Based on a case study of a rural primary school,this paper analyzes and explores the current situation and implementation strategies of local culture education.On the basis of referring to relevant literature,this paper firstly defines the concepts and the definition of local culture education.Secondly,clarify the value,content and principles of local culture education and form a theoretical framework.According to the actual situation,formulate questionnaire-"The Status of the local cultural education in Rural Primary School" and choose a rural primary school in Dezhou of Shandong Province as a case by means of questionnaire for the school teachers to fully understand the current situation of local cultural education of the school through the questionnaire survey and interview survey.Through the investigation,the paper summarizes up the local cultural education problems of case school.There are the contradiction between cognition and behavior of the local cultural education.Local cultural education subject is single.There is limitation among local culture education contents and the form is single.The utilization rate of local culture teaching material is too low and there are no special local culture courses and examination evaluation system.The reasons of those problems are both objective factors,such as inadequate teachers,fundings and exam-oriented education,subjective factors such as teachers themselves.Finally,this paper presents some recommendations on the current management of local cultural education of Rural Primary School.Establish a "people-oriented" management philosophy to give teachers more autonomy and encourage teachers to set up learning community about local culture.Depending on geographical advantages,implement local cultural education by the pluralistic manner in order to create a good atmosphere of the local culture.Many local culture educational activities are organized by using local culture resources.Improve the security system of the local culture education:normalize local culture curriculum,improve the utilization of local cultural materials and establish a sound assessment system.Raise more funds and establish a perfect training system with local cultural knowledge in the training.
