With the development of global STEAM innovation science education and modern technology,the traditional primary school science curriculum is changing in a new direction of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary.The concept of STEAM education has become an important research theme for many countries to enhance their national competitiveness.Students' effective scientific learning comes from intuitive feelings,and teaching aids are important tools for students' intuitive feelings.In scientific activities,it is easier to use teaching aids to stimulate innovative thinking,develop comprehensive quality and cultivate the ability to solve problems,and experience the great changes brought by science to human beings.Therefore,it is necessary to integrate STEAM concept with scientific innovation teaching aids in primary school,develop specific teaching aids cases and carry out teaching practice.Based on the philosophy of STEAM,the scientific research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method and so forth,were mainly adopted to development and application of science innovation teaching aids in primary school in this research.The paper was divided into six parts.The first part,to understand the research results of STEAM education and primary school science innovation teaching aids at home and abroad,the existing literature related to the research were sorted out and analyzed to lay the foundation for the research.The second part,the theoretical basis of science innovation teaching aids in primary school was discoursed and the three concepts of "STEAM" "innovation teaching aids" "development" were defined.The third part,in order to understand the current situation of the development and application of science teaching aids in primary schools,a questionnaire survey was conducted among science teachers of more than100 primary schools in 21 cities of our province.In the fourth part,the development strategies was elaborated which combined with the survey results and philosophy of STEAM,including summarizing the development types of science teaching aids in primary school,clarifying the development principles such as "educational,scientific,intuitive",and the development and application process of "establishment the subject,development background,development and application,reflection and improvement" was put forward.The fifth part,four experimental contents of "observing the moon phase","building a tower","exploring the factors of land erosion","food travel",from in the science text book of Educational Science Publishing House,were selected to make specific analysis,and cases of science innovation teaching aids in primary schoolwere designed based on the development principles and the development process.Then,the follow-up development and application inspiration of scientific innovation teaching aids in primary schools was summarized through analyzing practical application effect of teaching aids cases and interviewing teachers and participating students.The sixth part,the development and application of science innovation teaching aids based on STEAM can enrich inquiry activities,exercise various abilities,and lay a foundation for the development of students' STEAM comprehensive literacy of the research conclusion was showed,and the prospect of integrating more research into other disciplines was expected.Through this study,I hope to provide some reference for the majority of front-line science teachers to develop primary school science innovation teaching aids in combination with the STEAM concept,and also hope that the majority of science teachers can work together to diversify our primary school science education,gradually cultivate students' STEAM comprehensive literacy,and make them become innovative high-quality talents with global competitiveness.
