At present,high school geography curriculum attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' core qualities in geography,and due to the reform of the enrollment examination system,high school geography teaching puts forward higher requirements on how to arouse students' interest,but there are still some deficiencies in high school geography teaching.Under the background of these studies,the author determines the research topic of this paper.By means of literature analysis,the author sorted out and analyzed the research status of core accomplishment and in-depth teaching of geography at home and abroad,and found the research direction.In the research process,the concepts of core accomplishment and in-depth teaching of geography are defined,the requirements of cultivating core accomplishment stipulated in the curriculum standard are analyzed,the differences between in-depth teaching and shallow teaching are compared,and the characteristics of geography teaching in senior high school from the perspective of core accomplishment are determined.In addition,a questionnaire was designed to survey 132 high school geography teachers and 253 high school students to summarize the current situation of geography teaching in high schools and find out the shortcomings of current geography teaching in high schools.Finally,the countermeasures to improve the current teaching situation are put forward.According to the survey,the current situation of in-depth geography teaching in senior high schools from the perspective of core literacy is as follows: the application degree of in-depth teaching concept needs to be deepened,the cultivation of core geography literacy still needs to be implemented,the understanding degree of students needs to be deepened,and the construction of geography curriculum resources still needs to be improved.The author analyzes the causes of the problems from three aspects: schools,teachers and students.Finally,four improvement measures are put forward,that is,enhancing the core quality of geography teachers,respecting the principal position of students,deeply understanding the learning situation,optimizing the teaching process,implementing the core quality of geography,and strengthening the construction of curriculum resources.
