Teachers,as an important profession in the knowledge society,are not only the key force to promote social change,but also the social responsibilities and functions they undertake are constantly changing with the development of the society and The Times.At present,China's society has entered an unprecedented transformation period,social politics,economy,culture,science and technology and other aspects of the dramatic changes.These changes not only bring new challenges to teachers' career adaptation,but also put forward new requirements for their career development.For new teachers,whether they can adapt to the teaching profession as soon as possible and complete the identity transformation from “prospective teacher” to “teacher” directly affects their teaching belief,professional attitude and professional ability,and then concerns the stability and development of the whole teaching team.In addition,under the open and diversified market environment of teacher education supply and the national unified teacher qualification examination system,it is worth pondering whether the different pre-service education experiences of normal university students and non-normal university students have different influences on their career development.With the help of the paradigm of empirical research,this study included the pre-service education practice of new teachers(both normal and non-normal students)into the research topic,and investigated its influence on the career adaptability of new teachers with different educational backgrounds.Based on the review of the existing literature and the construction of the theoretical basis,this study respectively defines the operational and analytical dimensions and indicators of each research variable,namely,the pre-service educational practice(independent variable),vocational adaptability(dependent variable),and demography of new teachers(control variable).On this basis,the theoretical hypothesis and researchmodel of this study were proposed,and 324 new teachers were surveyed by using the questionnaire on the pre-service education practice of new teachers and the questionnaire on the career adaptability of new teachers,so as to understand the influence of pre-service education practice on the career adaptability of new teachers.The results show that:(1)most new teachers have the experience of pre-service education practice and have a good understanding of the importance of pre-service education practice.However,there are different degrees of differences in the specific links of pre-service education practice of new teachers with different educational backgrounds.(2)the overall occupational adaptability of new teachers and their adaptability performance in all dimensions are above the average level,but comparatively speaking,the performance of occupational ability adaptation and work environment adaptation is poor.In terms of the overall occupational adaptability level,there is no difference in the characteristics of new teachers,such as gender,teaching age,type of graduation major,region of work school and nature of work school.However,there are significant differences in the characteristic factors such as educational background,the nature of graduation school,the type of graduation school and the type of working school.(3)pre-service education practice has a significant impact on the career adaptability of new teachers,and there is a slight difference in different practice links.Among them,pre-service educational practice types,practice time,practice guidance frequency,practice evaluation types and other predictive variables have a significant positive impact on the career adaptability of new teachers.However,the types of pre-service education practice have a significant negative impact,that is,the more kinds of practice content,the lower career adaptability level.Finally,the researchers reflected on the differences between the pre-service education practice and the career adaptability of new teachers from different sources,and put forward some countermeasures and Suggestions to optimize the pre-service education practice and improve the career adaptability of new teachers.
