Research On Information Literacy Of College Counselors Under The New Media Environment

New Media Era is quietly coming with the rapid development of information technology,and the information explosion has become the most prominent feature of the New Media Era.Because of the wide and frequent use of network and new media in colleges and universities of China,this puts forward the strict request and challenge to the college teachers.As the college counselors,with teacher and manager of double identity,the excellent comprehensive quality is necessary to adapt to the changes of the times and develop ideological and political education.Counselors,as the executor of students' daily management work,is different from ordinary teachers who just impart the professional knowledge.The work of counselors is more inclined to develop ideological guidance,moral cultivation,goal setting,daily management and provide clearer and broader career guidance for their students.Job function makes counselors' personal accomplishment,especially information literacy,have more important value.The professional orientation of college counselors puts forward a higher level of requirements for the information literacy of counselors,and the cultivation of good information literacy plays an important role in promoting the development of their work.As a result of the rapid development of new media technology,the information literacy level of college counselors fails to have coordinated development with it.In addition,with the differences in the overall level of the counselor team and the influence of social environment and other factors,there are so many problems have arisen,such as weak information consciousness of college counselors,lack of theoretical knowledge and low ability of information fusion,etc.If the above problems cannot be solved well and the working ways of counselors cannot be innovated,then it will affect the ability and quality of talent training in Colleges and Universities.This thesis,based on the background of new media era,taking college counselors as the research object,based on Marxist theory on human general development and ideological and political educational environment,adhere to the problem orientation and follow the ideas of finding,analyzing and solving problems,analyzes the problems existing in the information literacy of college and puts forward the corresponding solutions.This thesis consists of four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction part,put forward about the background,purpose and significance of the research on information literacy of college counselors under the new media environment,and the domestic and foreign research status,research methods and innovation points;the second chapter defines the related concepts of college counselors' information literacy under the new media environment,and explains the theoretical basis,the composition and characteristics of information literacy of College Counselors;the third chapter describes the current situations and problem analysis of college counselors' information literacy under the new media environment.The research is mainly conducted by using questionnaire survey;the fourth chapter raises the training strategies from four aspects of the optimization of the external social environment,the improvement of the information construction in Colleges and universities,the improvement of the training and evaluation system of counselors,and the self-improvement of counselors' information literacy,so as to find out practical and effective solutions.Contribute to cultivate the information literacy of college counselors,improve the work efficiency of college counselors under the new media environment,strengthen education modernization,practice the fundamental task of establishing moral integrity in cultivation,and achieve the Chinese nation's bright prospect on the road to revival.
