| National Geography Standard(2nd edition)issued by the United States in 2012 proposed the new concept of "doing geography" and strengthened the concept of geographical learning mode from "geography for life" into "doing geography".In2017,China put forward the concept of "core competence of geography subject" in the ordinary high school geography curriculum standard(2017 edition),and regarded "geographic practice ability" as one of the core accomplishments.The activity module in geography textbook is an important part of the training of geographic practice ability,which plays an important role in the training of geographic practice ability in China and America.In order to provide reference for the compilation of the activity module of geography textbooks for high schools in China,this paper compared the characteristics and differences of the activity modules of geography textbooks between China and the United States,conducted a survey of the implementation of the geography textbook activity module in mainland China,and then put forward suggestions for the optimization of Chinese geography textbook activity modules.The specific research content was divided into the following six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduced the research background,the significance of topic selection,the domestic and foreign research status of activity teaching and geographical practice,the main research content and technical route of this paper.The second chapter is the research basis and concept definition.Mainly through data collection and literature reading,this chapter sorted out the research basis for the compilation of the activity module of geographical textbooks in China and the United States,and explained and defined the concepts of "activity","activity module","practical ability",and "geographic practice ability".The third chapter is the comparison of Chinese and American geography textbooks and activity module.This chapter was divided into two parts.The first part compared the geography curriculum standards and geography textbooks betweenChina and the United States,and focused on the comparison of the contents,compilation sequence and structure of the textbooks of the two countries.The second part compared the activity module of geography textbooks between China and the United States,and focused on the type and quality of activity module.In the quality comparison,the focus is on the graphic,situational,exploratory,operational and other aspects of the activity module.The fourth chapter is the investigation and analysis of the implementation status of activity module.Through the form of questionnaire survey,this paper made a practical investigation on the implementation of the activity module of compulsory course I in senior high school geography xiang education edition,and conducted an investigation and interview on the teachers' cognition of the training of geographic practice ability of the activity module and the implementation status of the activity module.The fifth chapter is about the optimization strategy of activity module.On the basis of the above research,this paper summarized the characteristics and shortcomings of the activity module of geography textbook in cultivating the practical ability of geography,and put forward specific optimization suggestions from the four aspects of graphic,situational,exploratory and operability of the activity module design.The sixth chapter is conclusion and expectation.This paper summarized the main conclusions and shortcomings of this study,and put forward some views on the future research direction. |
