In high school,classical poetry teaching,especially poetry criticism,has become an important part of Chinese teaching.It solidifies the student's appreciation results in the form of reviews.At the same time,in-depth reviews not only help to improve the ability of students to write and comment,but also improve the quality of the students' mother tongue expression based on appreciation.However,in reality,poetry criticism is limited to the exam-oriented training of the college entrance examination,and the practice of the examination questions of poetry appreciation is carried out repeatedly.There is no deep appreciation of poetry,not to mention the teaching and learning of poetry criticism and appreciation.In view of this,the author has carried out a case study on the Whole Book Reading Teaching of poetry criticism monograph in Senior High School,in order to cultivate high school students' interest in poetry learning,and improve the ability to appreciate poems of students.This paper is composed of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.In the part of introduction,the author mainly expounds the research background and significance of the Whole Book Reading Teaching of poetry criticism monograph in Senior High School,and sorts out the research results,defines the research scope,and explains the research methods used in this paper.The text is divided into three parts.In the first part of paper,the author focuses on the theoretical exploration,discusses the basic concept and characteristics of the Whole Book Reading Teaching of poetry criticism monograph in Senior High School,and clarified basic lesson types and operating procedures.In the second part,the author focuses on the operation strategy of the whole book from three aspects: implementation preparation,implementation steps and implementation evaluation.In the third part,based on the theoretical and practical exploration of the first two parts,the author makes a reflection on the reading teaching of the whole book: summarize the implementation value,reflect on the existing problems,and put forward the corresponding improvement strategy.Through the case exploration of high school poem criticism monograph whole book reading teaching,in this paper,we find that carrying out the whole book reading teaching of poem criticism monograph is conducive to improving students' Chinese quality,improving their ability of poetry appreciation,comprehensively developing their ability of reading expression and communication,and deepening their understanding of traditional culture.On the other hand,it also helps to promote teachers' professional growth,improve their literary and cultural literacy,and enrich their reading teaching strategies.However,there are still some problems in practice teaching,such as incomplete curriculum system,insufficient enthusiasm of students in reading,and teachers' inability to timely understand students' reading situation.For this reason,the author puts forward some improvement strategies,such as strengthening the course construction,relying on the internet to promote deep reading,and combining situational creation with task-driven,so as to construct a more effective paradigm for the whole book reading instruction.
