As a part of junior middle school Chinese language can not be ignored,foreign selected works play an important role in the Chinese textbooks edited by the Ministry of Education.Through literature research,investigation and research,case analysis and observation,this paper will first analyze the teaching significance of foreign selected works in the Chinese textbooks edited by the Ministry of Education from the perspective of Chinese core literacy.Then it points out the teaching basis of foreign selected works in junior middle school from the theoretical and practical dimensions.Then it points out the characteristics of the ideal and effective teaching of the selected foreign works from three aspects: the characteristics of the nature of Chinese language,the characteristics of students' psychology and the specific characteristics of the selected foreign works.Then,starting from the unsatisfactory teaching situation of foreign selected works,this paper points out that there are some problems in the foreign selected works in the junior middle school,such as the fragmentation of learning,the superficial understanding and the pattern of teaching.At the same time,it analyzes the reasons for the existence of the problem from the perspectives of the exam-oriented pressure background,the knowledge reserve of teachers,the quality of lesson preparation and the arrangement of teaching materials.Finally,this paper focuses on the concrete implementation of the teaching of foreign selected works in junior middle school.Teachers should refer to the textbook system of "ministry edition" to guide students to carry out comparative reading.Teachers should distinguish different types of classes and construct a "trinity" reading system.Teachers should also implement the "1+X" mode in the teaching of foreign selected works to fully tap teaching resources.
