In the junior high school teaching stage,the selection of foreign literary works in the Chinese textbooks undoubtedly builds a bridge to the world for junior high school students and opens the door for students to perceive the world's diverse cultures.The selected foreign literary works in this textbooks edited by the Ministry of Education cover the characteristics of literary quality and beauty,exemplary and contemporary.Its selection system,reading aid system,and practice system have outstanding features and advantages.They are the "teaching" of teachers."And the students' "learning" played a great role in promoting.However,in actual teaching,teachers still have some problems with the teaching of foreign literary works in the textbooks edited by the Ministry of Education.The reasons are many,and some countermeasures are needed to implement the teaching goals.This article studies the characteristics of the selection of foreign literary works compiled by the Ministry,compares the textbooks edited by the Ministry of Education and the People's Education Edition,and summarizes the characteristics of the selection system,the reading aid system and the practice system of the foreign literary works of the Ministry of Education.The investigation and research of teachers' teaching and students' learning situation and the problems it reflects provide feasible suggestions for the better compilation of foreign literary works by the teaching department.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the origin of the research,explains the concepts of Chinese textbooks and foreign literary works compiled by the Ministry,summarizes the current research status,and finally explains the research significance and research methods of this article.The second part is the analysis of the characteristics of the selection and compilation of foreign literary works in junior high school.Comparing the similarities and differences between the foreign literary works in the edition and the PEP edition from the three aspects of selected essays,reading aids and practice systems,in order to summarize and extract the characteristics of the selected editions of foreign literary works.The third part is a survey of the teaching status of foreign literary works compiled by the Ministry.Through the questionnaire,we can understand the teaching status and learning status of foreign literary works,and analyze the problems in teaching based on the specific survey results: teachers despise the teaching of foreign literary works,The teaching method is single,the guidance for students to actively use the reading aid system is neglected,and the role of the practice system in improving students' Chinese literacy is neglected.The fourth part is the teaching strategies for foreign literary works.In view of the problems reflected in the actual teaching in the third part,combined with the analysis of the characteristics of the selected foreign literary works in the second part,the papers are proposed from the three aspects of the selection system,the reading aid system and the practice system of foreign literary works.Appropriate teaching strategies: based on foreign literature selections,carry out multi-dimensional reading activities;optimize teaching thinking,pay attention to the guidance of the reading aid system;make good use of the practice system to improve students' Chinese literacy.
