Under the background of the new curriculum and new teaching materials,foreign literature,as an important way for students to improve their humanistic quality and expand their cultural vision,plays an important role in Chinese teaching.How to make good use of the unified textbooks to teach foreign literature and give full play to the educational function of foreign literary works has become one of the important topics in the current teaching and research of foreign literature.Through the investigation and understanding of the current situation of foreign literature teaching in junior middle school Chinese classroom,we can find that there are many problems: teachers have firm examination thinking and pay less attention to foreign literature;Serious stylization of teaching and lack of efficient teaching methods;The text interpretation is not in-depth,students’ learning attitude is negative,etc.These problems are closely related to the limitations and singleness of traditional single article teaching.In this context,the teaching method of group reading provides a good way to solve the above problems.Group reading teaching has the advantages of enriching texts,clarifying topics and respecting students’ subjectivity.It has remarkable effects in improving students’ thinking ability,cultivating students’ reading habits and developing students’ Chinese literacy.Based on the full study of the unified edition of junior middle school foreign literature works,combined with the group text reading teaching theory,this paper uses the research methods of literature analysis,case study and interview to carry out the teaching research and practice of the unified edition of junior middle school foreign literature works from the perspective of group text reading.This paper consists of five chapters except the introduction and conclusion.The first chapter is the definition of the concept of group reading and the grasp of its basic characteristics,and expounds in detail the existing theoretical basis and future development trend of group reading teaching.The second chapter analyzes the necessity of foreign literature group reading teaching in junior middle school from three aspects:the development of the times,the curriculum standards and the core literacy of Chinese.It discusses the feasibility of foreign literature group reading teaching in junior middle school from three aspects: the affinity between teaching methods and textbook arrangement,the cognitive development characteristics of junior middle school students and the current classroom teaching situation of foreign literature in junior middle school.The teaching practice of the third chapter presents the specific teaching design cases and implementation process with the topic of "gray life of small people at the bottom of society".The fourth chapter tests the effect of group reading teaching through parallel class control experiment,and summarizes the problems that should be paid attention to in the teaching of group reading of foreign literature in the reflection of teaching practice.The last chapter,on the premise of undertaking the full text,takes the example of foreign literature group reading teaching of famous teachers as the starting point,and introduces in detail the implementation strategies of foreign literature group reading teaching in junior middle school from four aspects: improving teachers’ quality,setting effective topics,enriching text selection and using comparative vision.Through the research and practice of the unified edition of junior middle school foreign literature group reading teaching,this paper hopes to provide some ideas for junior middle school foreign literature teaching and some valuable teaching suggestions for front-line Chinese teachers.
