In the General Technical Standards for Ordinary High Schools formulated by the Ministry of Education in 2017,new requirements are put forward for the content and teaching methods of the curriculum. It is clearly emphasized that the learning methods should be changed based on the characteristics of the disciplines,Type project learning method and the theme-based learning methods should be promoted. In recent years,STEAM education concept has also been popularized in China.STEAM integrates knowledge in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to train students applying multidisciplinary knowledge to solve real problems.Since the General Technology Course itself is a discipline of multidisciplinary cross-disciplinary applications,we can fully incorporate STEAM education concepts into the teaching of general technology courses. The focus of this research is to cultivate students' core literacy and innovation ability based on STEAM education concept, adopt project-based teaching design method, through interdisciplinary learning and inquiry to help students to establish high-level thinking skills and form systematic thinking.Due to the deep-rooted test-oriented education,we found that the general technical teaching of many schools is still for the test.Only through mechanically learning, memory, training, students will only do the problem but will not solve the real problem; The division teaching will separate the disciplines, and it will not give students a more comprehensive and holistic understanding; The popularization of STEAM education concept and the formulation of new curriculum standards can provide new problem-solving strategies and tools for the teaching reform of the general technical curriculum. This subject research takes the general technical course as the entry point, takes the high school students of X middle school as the research object, and integrates the STEAM education concept into the teaching and practice of the general technology course through the project-based teaching method. This topic mainly uses the action research method.Firstly, through the literaturesurvey, the domestic and foreign literatures related to STEAM education in recent years are sorted out,and the relevant theoretical research results of STEAM education are expounded. This paper briefly describes the research background, research purposes, research significance and research design of the high school general technology curriculum from the perspective of STEAM education.Secondly, the feasibility analysis of the teaching reform and implementation of the STEAM concept and the general technology curriculum is carried out,and the arguments around the characteristics, objectives and contents show that the STEAM concept is conducive to the return of the value of general technology education.Again, this topic has been carried out.Based on the STEAM concept, the project design study of the high school general technical course, the design method and principle of implementing project-based teaching in the teaching of high school general technical courses, the overall framework of project design based on 4C/ID model and the overall design of the project, and The project theme, project determination, content selection, task designing, teaching process, and teaching evaluation are discussed in detail. At the end of the thesis, the STEAM concept-based high school general technical course project-based teaching implementation and practical results are introduced. The case of high school general technology course project design based on STEAM concept is expounded. The survey data of the control class shows that the project-based teaching of the high school general technical course based on the STEAM concept is effective.
