With the steady implementation of the "double first-class" construction strategy,the construction of first-class disciplines is not only an important part of university reform,but also a key subject of higher education evaluation.Therefore,how to build the world-class disciplines and how to evaluate the first-class disciplines has become a hot research direction in academia.In practice,due to the lack of understanding of the essence of the first-class discipline construction,many disciplines in China are constructed according to the evaluation standards,and the disciplines are faced with some difficulties,such as serious homogenization and fierce competition of discipline resources.In theory,related researches are mainly based on the results of first-class discipline construction,lacking in-depth research on the process,dynamics and influencing factors of discipline construction.There is an urgent need to clarify the relationship between discipline construction and discipline evaluation,and to find out the factors and mechanisms that affect discipline development.Taking university discipline as study subject,this paper discusses the key factors and action mechanism that affect the growth of the discipline from the perspective of dynamic capability.This paper reviews the previous studies on discipline construction and puts forward the concept of discipline growth in combination with organizational growth theory,and aims to explain the process and dynamics of discipline construction.According to the characteristics of discipline organization,the four dimensions of discipline dynamic capability are proposed as environmental insight capability,exploration and innovation capability,advantage learning capability and resource management capability.And this paper discusses the relationship between the dimensions of discipline dynamic capability and the growth of discipline,also constructs the corresponding theoretical hypothesis model.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 215 university teachers,and the theoretical model of the influence of subject dynamic capability on the growth of university disciplines was verified through empirical research,and statistical analysis was carried out by software SPSS20.0 and AMOSS22.0 to measure the degree of influence of each dimension of discipline dynamic capability on the growth of discipline.On the basis of the above research,the following research results are obtained:(1)Environmental insight capability has a positive correlation between internal and external growth of the subject,that is,good environmental insight capability for theoverall growth of the discipline has a positive effect.(2)exploration and innovation capability has a significant positive effect on the growth of discipline,and exploration and innovation capability can promote the development of the discipline effectively,and at the same time help the discipline to gain competitive advantage.(3)Advantage learning capability only plays a role in promoting the internal development of the discipline,and it does not play a significant role in the formation of the competitive advantage of the discipline.(4)Resource management capability has a positive role in promoting the growth of disciplines,and is the most critical factor affecting the growth of disciplines.The specific performance shows that the resource management capability has a significant positive correlation effect on the development of discipline and the competitiveness of the discipline,and the sum of its standardized path coefficients is higher than that of other dimensions.This paper enriches the theoretical research perspective of first-class discipline construction,puts forward the connotation and dimension division of subject dynamic capability,analyzes the influence relationship between the dynamic capability dimension of different disciplines and the growth of discipline,makes suggestions to promote the construction of first-class disciplines,provides reference for the management of university discipline organization,and enriches the method of discipline evaluation.
