By the end of this study,the results of the fifth round of discipline evaluation in national colleges and universities have been published.The discipline construction of Guizhou Province has made A new breakthrough on the whole.For the first time,Adiscipline has been established,and B discipline has also been greatly increased.However,judging from the evaluation results,all the shortlisted disciplines are in provincial universities.It can also be seen that there is a certain gap between the discipline construction of provincial universities and that of prefectural universities.Therefore,this study chooses the service which is more suitable for the discipline construction of colleges and universities in Guizhou Province and the first-class discipline construction service in the region.Among the seven prefectural universities in Guizhou Province,all the disciplines have been selected as the regional first-class discipline construction.As the resource service department of prefectural universities,the library has great room for progress in the discipline construction service.It should provide high-quality discipline construction service for the regional first-class discipline construction,help the development of characteristic disciplines in prefectural universities,and support the construction and development of first-class disciplines in prefectural universities.Therefore,based on the theory of value co-creation,this study takes subject construction service of prefecture-state university libraries as the core,and puts forward specific suggestions to promote value co-creation between prefecture-state university libraries and their service objects,so as to achieve win-win cooperation,so as to help prefecture-state university libraries to build first-class disciplines in the region and improve their value status and recognition in prefecture-state universities.Under the background of high-quality development,this study takes the service of regional first-class discipline construction as the entry point,adopts the literature method,the investigation method and the specific environment analysis method to understand the service of regional first-class discipline construction of 7 prefectural university libraries in Guizhou Province.The questionnaire was used to investigate the willingness of functional departments,subject teams and librarians to cooperate and create subject construction services.By referring to the experience and inspiration of double-first-class universities in providing discipline services,this paper analyzes the actual needs of the main objects of discipline construction services,that is,decision makers,functional departments,discipline talents and teams.Based on the requirements of discipline construction and service policies,industry-university-research policies and other documents,this paper discusses the service paths that universities libraries in prefectures can provide to support the decision-making of discipline construction.And the concrete measures to provide embedded discipline construction service for regional first-class discipline construction work.Based on the theory of value co-creation,this paper determines the members and objectives of service value co-creation of first-class discipline construction in the region,and puts forward some suggestions for the realization of value co-creation of supply and demand and competition cooperation between university libraries in prefectures and states and their developing cooperative and competitive environments in the process of providing service of discipline construction.
