A Practical Study On Social Work Intervention In The Micro-governance Of Public Space

The Party and the Country's concept and understanding of Social Governance keep pace with the times and gradually sublimate since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the focus of social governance has been shifted to grassroots and rooted in communities.Promoting the innovation of the social governance system and the modernization of governance capabilities are largely determined by the innovation and modernization of community governance.Social work' participation is an indispensable part of it to promote and improve the level of innovation and modernization of community governance,especially in terms of achieving joint construction and co-governance,exerting social coordination,promoting public participation,and realizing professional governance.Social work actively participates in community governance through government procurement of social services and practice the value concept of "people-oriented and help people to help themselves " in the community.Meanwhile,social work also uses professional skills in social work and clarify the role of community governance participation,thus exert the professional function of social work and the role of collaborative governance.Judging from the practice of social work participating in community governance,social work mainly relies on social services to develop service-oriented governance,and promotes government-enterprise-social cooperation.To a certain extent,social work has responded to and solved community problems,and promoted the community to function as a community.Can social work promote wider residents' participation,implement governance in a more open public space,and effectively cultivate community capital while solving problems based on community elite governance?To explore and respond to the problems existing in the participation of social work in community governance,this study took the project of the Civilization Convention 2.0 of the Public Welfare Park in Town G as the research sample.This project is based on the perspectives of community governance theory and empowerment theory,carried out“bottom-up” community governance practices by using the regional development model of community work.It is a project for the micro-governance of public space designed to address the increasingly prominent improper behaviors in the Public Welfare Park of the Town G.The project realized the empowerment and extensive engagement of the main subjects of activity in the park through questionnaires on governance,seminars,andforums so as to encourage them to actively participate in the governance of the park.Based on the practical experience of the project,the author summarized and reflected,discussed in depth the implementation guarantee,function and path of social work to intervene in micro-governance of public space,and found its realization guarantees are a strong governance environment,sufficient social workers to participate in governance,greater role of social workers,premium and professional services,participation of multiple governance subjects,and various publicity and promotion methods.The study of social work intervention in micro-governance of public space can effectively promote the joint efforts of functional departments to play a joint force,promote the participation of community social organizations to stimulate vitality,and enhance residents' active participation motivation.Refinement of governance objectives,diversification of participants,normalization of consultation democracy,diversification of participation methods,and diversification of governance services are effective ways to achieve micro-governance of public space.
