| With the rapid development of science and technology,scientific and technological innovation has become an important driving force to promote national development.As an important innovation model in the national innovation system,industry-university collaborative innovation plays an important role in promoting the implementation of the strategy of strengthening the country through science and technology.In the process of collaborative innovation,universities,as an important base for knowledge innovation and scientific research activities,play a key role in promoting collaborative innovation and enhancing national innovation strength.Therefore,how to improve the knowledge management ability of universities,promote the development of industry-university collaborative innovation,and then enhance the overall innovation ability of the country has become a common concern issue in research and practice of innovation.Meanwhile,industry-university collaborative innovation is not only affected by the university knowledge networks,but also affected by the regional collaborative network.Multiple networks jointly affect the output of industry-university collaborative innovation performance.In addition,due to the complexity and variability of the external environment,the university knowledge network is no longer limited to the static network structure,but also includes the network behaviors and activities,as well as the constantly changing process and social phenomenon of the university knowledge network,which is a dynamic process.So,based on the perspective of dependent multi-layer networks,this study constructed a multiple network research framework including university knowledge networks and regional collaborative networks.This study used the invention patents data applied by the Double First-Rate Universities from 1985 to 2018 to explore the evolution of university knowledge network,screening out the invention patents data applied by the Double First-Rate Universities and companies to explore the features of time and space of industry-university collaborative innovation.Then,combining the Social Network Theory and Resource-Based View,this study analyzes the impact of static and dynamic characteristics of university knowledge networks on industry-university collaborative innovation performance,and the moderating effect of regional collaborative network between the university knowledge network and the industry-university collaborative innovation performance.At last,the study put forward the research implications including knowledge management and knowledge network construction in universities,and play to the advantages of regional.The main research contents include the following four aspects:First of all,this study system combed the theoretical basis and related literature,mainly included the Resource-Based View and Social Network Theory,as well as the literature review of knowledge network,industry-university collaborative innovation performance,the impact of university knowledge networks on industry-university collaborative innovation performance.Through relevant theories and literature review,this study found the shortcomings of the existing research,put forward the ideas of this study,and designed the overall research framework.Secondly,from the perspective of dependent multi-layer network,this study took the data of invention patents applied by the Double First-Rate universities from 1985 to 2018 as research samples,constructed university knowledge networks and regional collaborative networks,explored the evolution and topological characteristics of the university knowledge networks,then analyzed its development trend.This study used invention patents applied by the Double First-Rate universities and companies to analyze the evolution of innovation subject,space and technology.Thirdly,combining the Resource-Based View and Social Network Theory,from the static and dynamic levels of university knowledge network,this study explored the impact of university knowledge network on the industry-university collaborative innovation performance and the moderating effect of regional collaborative network between university knowledge network and industry-university collaborative innovation performance,and tested the assumptions through empirical research.The results showed that the diversity of university knowledge network has a significant inverted U-shaped effect on industry-university collaborative innovation;the uniqueness,structural holes,expansion,and stability of university knowledge network have a significant positive impact on the industry-university collaborative innovation performance;the structural hole of regional collaborative network has a positively moderating effect between the uniqueness,expansion of university knowledge network on the industry-university collaborative innovation performance;the regional collaborative network centrality has a positively moderating effect between the diversity,uniqueness,structural hole,expansion and stability of university knowledge network on the industry-university collaborative innovation performance.Finally,based on the analysis of the evolution of university knowledge networks and the effect of university knowledge network on the industry-university collaborative innovation performance,the research implications are as follows:(1)university need to break through the limitations of existing knowledge,developing and using new knowledge,strengthening the depth of knowledge and forming a broader knowledge network;(2)university should mining the valuable knowledge elements in university knowledge network,enriching and improving the static,dynamic knowledge network structure,and promoting the production of industry-university collaborative innovation;(3)university ought to pay attention to the role of regional collaborative network,integrating the double advantages of knowledge network and regional collaborative network,promoting the industry-university collaborative innovation performance. |
