Research On The Promotion Strategy Of Small Basketball In Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club Based On SWOT Analysis Method

In 1960,China first proposed the "Little Basketball Plan".However,due to the imperfect rules of small basketball at that time and the lack of unified regulations,the implementation of the "Small Basketball Plan" was severely restricted.In November 2017,the Chinese Basketball Association released the "Small Basketball Development Plan",which ushered in a new stage of small basketball in China and injected new vitality into the development of small basketball in China.Since the launch of the National Basketball League,the number of participants has continuously expanded,from the initial 100000 to the current 250000,radiating over 3 million people.During the epidemic,the Chinese Basketball Association organized small basketball online activities and jointly developed the "small basketball playing together" project with the Tiktok platform,with more than 150 million broadcasts.At the same time,basketball training institutions,competition companies,and public welfare organizations actively promote and carry out small basketball games,which not only enriches children’s extracurricular life,but also promotes the popularization of small basketball in families and schools.Based on this background,this article takes Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club as the research object,and uses literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,etc.to analyze the current situation of the development of small basketball in Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club.Combining the commonly used SWOT analysis method in management,this paper analyzes the internal advantages and disadvantages,external threats and opportunities faced by Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club.Through the construction of SWOT matrix,suggestions and strategies suitable for Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club to carry out small basketball are proposed,providing reference for the better development and promotion of small basketball in Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club.The analysis results of this study indicate that the influencing factors of small basketball in Xi’an Children’s Basketball Club are: 1.Internal advantages,constantly expanding demand for sports training market,high interest of trainees,low monthly training consumption,and high professional level of coaches;2.Internal disadvantages,uneven distribution of venues,traditional promotional strategies,imbalanced gender ratio of coaches,and inadequate management and training of coaches;3.External opportunities,a good basketball atmosphere,relevant national policy support,the integration and application of digital technology in the basketball field,and rich basketball events;4.External threats,including a lack of social attention,an imbalance in the gender ratio of trainees,low frequency of weekly training for trainees,and a lack of funding and industry standards and norms.Based on the results of this study,the following four suggestions are proposed: 1.Utilize one’s own advantages to seize external opportunities.Integrate digital technology,develop online courses,enhance students’ interest in participation and parental satisfaction;2.Utilize internal advantages to avoid external threats.Collaborate between schools and enterprises,jointly carry out sports training,high-quality clubs,etc.,to improve the market competitiveness of small basketball events;3.Utilize external opportunities to compensate for one’s own weaknesses.Enhance the promotion and promotion of small basketball through the rich sports events of basketball,and increase social awareness;4.Defend against external threats and avoid one’s own weaknesses.Improve the internal management of the club and the training of the coach team to promote the stable development of the club.
