| The size of China's migrant population in 2019 is 2.36 billion.Large-scale migration has provided abundant labor resources for China's economic growth,and also promoted the process of urbanization in China.At present,population movement has begun to enter the stage of family-based migration,which puts forward new requirements and challenges for the development and management of inflow and outflow areas.The research on the measurement and influencing factors of the family migration of floating population is beneficial to promoting the service and management of floating population,speeding up the process of new urbanization,and promoting the healthy and coordinated development of floating population and the economy and society.This paper is mainly based on the national floating population monitoring survey data from 2012 to 2017.Firstly,we make a descriptive statistical analysis of the basic characteristics of migrants and the characteristics of family migration.Secondly,selecting indicators from the aspects of quantity,time,and quality to construct a measurement index system for the level of family migration of migrants.Spatial correlation analysis was used to compare the level of household migration in 31 provinces,cities(districts)of mainland China in 2017.Thirdly,the indicators of macroeconomic,population and family migration levels for 2017 were selected for cluster analysis to classify regions in China into several categories,and to tier the level of family migration of the respondents in 2017 to compare the differences between various regions.Finally,comprehensively examine the similarities and differences of the factors affecting the level of family migration of migrants in various regions from the individual characteristics,economic characteristics and migration characteristics.This paper draws the following three conclusions.First of all,the level of family migration of the float ing population has risen slowly in recent years.Two-person households and three-person households are the main household sizes of survey object in the inflow areas.The proportion of complete family migration is more than 50% in each year.In 2017,the overall score of the family migration level was 75.08 points,an increase of 4.53 points from 70.55 points in 2014,and the scores in 2015 and 2016 were 71.31 points and 72.86 points,the score of the family migration level has not fluctuated much from year to year.Secondly,there is a spatial correlation and agglomeration of the level of family migration of the floating population.The global Moran index of 0.304 indicates that the level of family migration in China's migrant population has a significant positive correlation in space.Hot(cold)spot analysis shows that the level of family migration in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and some provinces and cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration have significant high values Aggregation,the level of family migration in the Northwest has significant low-value aggregation.Thirdly,the factors affecting the level of family migration of migrants in various regions have both commonality and individuality.Compared with the lower level,in the middle level,age,household registration,education,employment status,housing nature,and range of mobility are common influencing factors in the three types of regions;at higher levels,gender,age,education,Employment status,housing nature,and range of mobility are common influencing factors in the three types of regions,but the mechanisms of action are different.Finally,based on the research results,this paper proposes the following countermeasures to promote the development of migrant families and alleviate the management pressure of the outflow and inflow areas: gradually promoting household registration reforms,deepening of basic public service area cooperation,ensuring the basic housing needs of immigrants,and making comprehensive consideration of the decision-making of family migration of floating population. |
