Since the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities,the gross enrollment rate of higher education in our country has been continuously improved,and the enrollment opportunities for higher education enrollment of students from all walks of life in all regions have been expanded.At the same time,since the 1990 s,the equity of higher education enrollment has become a hot topic of concern in academia and the public.Higher education equity is an important part of educational equity,and educational equity is the foundation of social equity.This study obtained data on 26,169 complete student sources for undergraduate enrollment in a key provincial university in Nanjing from 2014 to 2018.Starting from the source of student enrollment opportunities for higher education,we first analyzed the text of the undergraduate enrollment policy for colleges and universities and sorted out general enrollment Policies and college entrance examination bonus points,the evolution of compensation policies and policy demands,comparative analysis of the overall situation of students in a Nanjing university from 2014 to 2018,and focus on national defense students,high-level athletes,Sino-foreign cooperatively run schools,comprehensive evaluation of admissions,guaranteed students,The source of special enrollment types such as special enrollment plans in poverty and special areas,analyze the actual effects and problems of these bonus points and compensation policies,and then respond and explore from the source area,urban and rural areas,gender,inter-school and family factors,etc.The deep-seated causes of the differences in college student sources.Based on data analysis and interview surveys,this study finds that the country continuously reforms various bonus points and compensation policies in an attempt to achieve educational equity,and has achieved certain results,but these bonus points and compensation policies are still correct in the implementation process.The source of students has caused some injustices,such as regional differences,urban and rural divisions,professional gender segregation,super middle school issues,family capital participation and other issues of fair access to higher education.Finally,in response to the demand for equal access to higher education enrollment opportunities for undergraduate students in universities and the demand for compensation for higher education enrollment opportunities by disadvantaged students,the government,society,and universities are proposed in order to better realize the fairness of higher education enrollment opportunities,and thus to achieve educational equity.Policy recommendations to promote social equity and higher education fair.
