Situational teaching method is a teaching method that teachers create vivid scenes to stimulate students' positive learning emotions.This teaching method has brought fruitful results to the field of education.However,with the continuous development of the society,the total amount of knowledge increases in aggregate and the speed of knowledge update is greatly accelerated.The classroom capacity is constantly increasing and the workload of teachers is constantly increasing.Therefore,situational teaching has encountered a bottleneck period.At this time,information technology has developed very mature,people can easily obtain and process massive data by using information technology,which can exactly solve the problems in situational teaching,so the deep integration of information technology and situational teaching is the trend of situational teaching reform.Therefore,based on the constructivism theory and the principles of interest stimulation,authenticity and development,and combining the implementation steps of situational teaching,the author constructed the situation teaching model of middle school geography based on information technology.Architecture of this model mainly included the situation,into the situation,optimization,expanding situation,with the situation and situation of five most,the gaming network teaching platform,virtual reality technology,Google Earth,ArcMap,micro barrage technology and interactive network teaching platform,such as information technology and the depth of the situational teaching integration,and application of these two aspects from the technical support and teaching of the feasibility of the model are analyzed.Finally,the model was applied in middle school as an example,and its effectiveness was tested by classroom observation,questionnaire survey and interview.It was found that this model could improve students' interest in learning geography,get rid of the shackle of old materials in textbooks,and facilitate the exploration of geographical problems.The real situation created by information technology could stimulate students' desire to explore,and micro-screen technology could be used to display the link of exploration results,which could increase students' sense of achievement.Moreover,this mode was conducive to the optimization of the teacher-student relationship.The push of network geography games before class could shorten the distance between teachers and students,and the application of interactive network teaching platform after class could strengthen the communication between teachers and students.
