Abstract/Summary:
Multimedia technology has many advantages. With the help of multimediatechnology, teachers can invent a purposeful lead-in and timely create a teachingsituation, which can improve teachers’ teaching efficiency. This paper focuses on thestudy of applying multimedia technology in the course of Information Technology forjunior middle school to do situational teaching and discusses the laws and effect ofapplying multimedia technology in Information Technology for junior middle school.The application study has been done via the chance of filming “Online Course ofInformation Resource for the Basic Education in Jiang Xi Province” for more than aterm and through the observation of students from three different grades in juniormiddle school receiving situational teaching in multimedia classroom and the writer’sinvolvement in the teaching design with other teachers and the questionnaire aboutstudents’ attitude on this teaching method and a record and investigation of theteaching result, and analysis of the effect of teaching. At last, after the questionnairewith the teacher of Information Technology in the local school and another29teachers from the nationwide and some postgraduates who major in moderninformation technology and have their internship in Information Technology forjunior middle school, the writer receives many precious ideas on the application ofmultimedia technology to the situational teaching in the course of InformationTechnology for junior middle school. Survey results show that application ofmultimedia technology in junior IT courses situational teaching can fully mobilize thestudents’ learning motivation, able to break emphasis and difficulties in teaching andcan improve teaching efficiency, especially achieved good teaching results in teachingmovement of skills.
