Higher vocational education is not only an important part of China's higher education system but also the leader of China's vocational education,accounting for half of the higher education.With the rapid development of higher vocational education in China,problems emerge in an endless stream.Among these problems,the new media image management in higher vocational colleges should not be ignored.Through theoretical analysis and empirical research,this paper analyzes the current situation,summarizes the effectiveness,problems and causes of the new media image management in higher vocational colleges,and proposes targeted and operable improvement measures.It is of practical significance to promote the management level of new media image in higher vocational colleges,improve the satisfaction and loyalty of students,and deal with the matriculate and survival crisis.This paper takes the new media image management in our higher vocational education as the research object,focusing on the three aspects of combing the theory,analyzing the status quo,and proposing countermeasures.This paper consists of five parts:(1)Introduction: Describe the background,purpose and significance of this research,definition of relevant concepts,domestic and foreign research review,research content,innovation and research methods.(2)Theoretical research: Study the theories related to image management,including the communication characteristics of new media and the theory of new media communication,CIS theory,image theory,and the challenges and opportunities of new media image management in higher vocational colleges.(3)Empirical research: Analyze the status quo of new media image management in higher vocational colleges and summarize the effects,problems and causes through observation,interview and other research methods.(4)Countermeasure research: In view of the existing problems put forward the following countermeasures and suggestions based on the theoretical research and current situation analysis of image management in the early stage of higher vocational colleges.First,strengthen the new media image management concept;Second,ensure the professional level and investment of new media image management;Third,establish and improve the new media image management mechanism;Fourth,enhance the new media image crisis public relations ability.(5)Conclusion: summarize the core points of this paper,analyze the limitations of the research work,and put forward some suggestions for the future work.
