Research On The Participation Of Social Work Institutions In Social Assistance Services

With the deepening of reform and development and the profound adjustment of economic and social structure,new changes have taken place in the situation and tasks of basic people's livelihood security in China.Relying solely on the government to provide material funds,it has been difficult to effectively meet the increasing social needs of social assistance objects,and to effectively solve the individual and social problems caused by the psychological and behavioral deviation of social assistance objects,There is an urgent need to innovate the connotation,concept and mode of social assistance and its service provision,support social work service institutions and social workers to participate in social assistance extensively,establish and improve a new type of social assistance service mode that combines material and financial assistance with psychological and social support,complements basic assistance service with specialized and personalized service,and links government guidance with social participation.In this paper,the author through the summer internship into social work institutions,to understand the whole process of social assistance services.Through the way of home interview,we can get the information of social assistance service objects,understand the specific measures of social work institutions to help vulnerable groups through the way of on-the-spot observation,and use case work method,group work method and community work method to help different types of relief objects,tap the advantages of relief objects,improve the living conditions of relief objects Improve self-efficacy.In the process of participation,we should explore the problems existing in the participation of social work institutions in social assistance services,and put forward corresponding countermeasures from different levels,This paper consists of five parts: the first part mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,research review,research methods and concept definition;the second part is the analysis of the current situation of social assistance in Taicang City.First of all,it introduces the basic situation and operation mode of X social work serviceorganization.Secondly,it analyzes the problems and difficulties of Taicang's social assistance objects by collecting the information of the visit investigation.In the third part,the author,through the whole process of participating in the social assistance project,uses the method of on-the-spot participation observation to understand the specific measures of social work organization to help the vulnerable groups,including community visit,household investigation Information integration,classified management,policy publicity,social advocacy,linking resources,feedback and other measures,but also from the perspective of social work.From the three aspects of case social work,group social work and community social work,the author elaborates the application of social work methods and models in social assistance services;in the fourth part,the author observes and collects the problems in the participation of social work institutions in social assistance services,such as social workers,through the full participation of various measures and methods of social work institutions to help vulnerable groups The fifth part,in view of the above problems,puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of rescue mechanism,self construction and social interaction: first,to improve the rescue mechanism and implement the supervision mechanism;second,to build professional social rescue posts and build a talent team;third,to strengthen cooperation with the government Linkage between enterprise resources and other social organizations.
