With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,people's educational concept has gradually changed.Nowadays,people are no longer "only teaching materials",but increasingly pursue the diversification of course resources.As a vivid and authentic course resources,documentaries are attracting more and more attention from education experts.The key to using documentaries for teaching is to collect documentaries suitable for teaching content.Without good documentaries,it is difficult for a skilled woman to make bricks without straw.On the occasion of the 40 th anniversary of reform and opening up in2018,CCTV has made a large number of excellent documentaries to commemorate the 40 th anniversary of reform and opening up,which are very suitable for the teaching of the first volume of "morality and the rule of law" in grade 9.Therefore,the author takes this opportunity to study the application of the excellent documentary commemorating the 40 th anniversary of the reform and opening up in the teaching of the 9th grade volume "morality and the rule of law".At present,some achievements have been made in the applied research of documentaries in teaching,but these researches are mainly on the theoretical level,and most of them start from the middle school stage,so the research lacks pertinence.Therefore,in this paper,on the basis of existing research,using literature research,comparative research,observation method of documentary,interview method in grade nine days of the application of "morality and the rule of law" teaching is analyzed,combining theory with practice,to "adhere to the reform and opening up" the box instance for the specific case design,and applied to real teaching.By comparing with the traditional teaching methods,it is found that the documentary-assisted teaching methods have achieved good results in stimulating students' interestin learning,activating the classroom atmosphere,improving human literacy,and consolidating and remembering knowledge.However,there are also some problems in the application of documentaries in teaching.The author puts forward some countermeasures from the school,teachers,students and parents to better apply documentary resources in teaching in the future.In general,the application of documentaries in the teaching of "morality and the rule of law",the first volume of the ninth grade,can greatly stimulate students' interest in learning,help students better understand the content of the textbook,and improve the teaching effect.It is hoped that this study can arouse the attention of teachers in the front line to the teaching of applied documentaries,change the traditional teaching mode,optimize the teaching method of "morality and the rule of law",and better implement the new curriculum concept.
