In the 21 st century with the explosion of information,as an education undertaking to promote social development,it also experienced the impact and baptism of the wave of informatization.The development of educational informatization optimizes and enriches teaching activities,changes the way students learn,and at the same time promotes the reform of the educational system and the form of educational resources,making diversified development of curriculum resources a necessity.The geography curriculum standard of compulsory education points out that teachers should actively use geographic information resources and information technology to develop geographic curriculum resources and optimize teaching activities.In the process of the integration of educational informatization and the development of geographic curriculum resources,the development of video resources has received increasing attention.As a high-quality video resource,documentary film carries a lot of geographic information,and provides rich and colorful teaching materials for geography teaching,which can supplement the teaching material knowledge and effectively improve the classroom teaching effect.Based on constructivism theory and audio-visual teaching theory,this article uses the literature method to sort out the application of documentary film in junior high school geography teaching,and summarizes the characteristics and types of documentary film and its application value in junior high school geography teaching.Secondly,the questionnaire survey was used to investigate teachers and students,and the problems and prospects of the documentary in geography teaching in junior high school were analyzed.On this basis,the selection principles and application strategies of documentary films in junior middle school geography teaching are proposed,and teaching cases are designed for specific explanations.The research results of this paper are as follows:Firstly,junior high school students and junior high school teachers have a high degree of recognition of documentary film in geography teaching.They believe that documentary film has greater development space and use value,which can broaden students' horizons,stimulate learning interest,promote knowledge understanding,and cultivate students' geographic literacy.Secondly,the level of development and use of teachers' use of documentary films for junior high school geography teaching still needs to be further improved.On the one hand,teachers have limited information technology to develop documentary films,with low development levels and weak theoretical knowledge.On the other hand,the documentary has a single method of use,and it ignores and weakens its educational value during use.It will produce a certain negative effect when used,so that the documentary cannot play its due teaching effect.Thirdly,this paper put forward the selection principles of documentary film applied to junior middle school geography teaching and make specific explanations based on detailed case design ideas,which are goal principle,typical principle,moderation principle,timeliness principle,education principle and optimization principle.Finally,put forward the application strategy of documentary film in junior middle school geography teaching and give detailed case description,that is,the application strategy of documentary film in different teaching links,different teaching courses,and the cultivation of students' home country feelings and human-centered coordination view The junior high school geography textbooks of the People's Education Edition try to establish a preliminary catalog of teaching documentary resources.
