As an explicit thinking tool,mind map can represent knowledge intuitively and vividly,effectively present the relationship between knowledge,reflect the dynamic generation of students' thinking,and cultivate students' thinking ability.Nowadays,middle school students have a heavy task of learning,and in this situation,the phenomenon of rigid thinking is very easy to occur,and they will not use living knowledge and make flexible use of knowledge,carry out active thinking activities.However,in the new era,with the development of discipline core literacy,it is very important and urgent to cultivate students' thinking ability,to help them develop correct thinking habits and to master a kind of thinking tool.The eighth grade "Morality and Rule of Law" involves many aspects of learning contents,such as morality,law and national conditions,and has a strong theoretical,extremely abstract,internal logic strict.It is necessary to use mind map to help students develop thinking ability,straighten out knowledge context,and easily and efficiently understand,consolidate and memorize knowledge.Therefore,on the basis of its own practice and theoretical research,this paper takes the eighth grade students of a middle school in Hohhot as the research object,studies the use of mind map in the review course of morality and rule of law,explores the advantages,problems and improvement measures of mind map in the review course of morality and rule of law,and provides some inspirations for the review course teaching of first-line morality and rule of law teachers,and also provides some methodological guidances for junior middle school students to use mind map correctly.First of all,the author expounds what the mind map is from the relevant concepts of mind map,and also discusses the drawing principle of mind map.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey of students and theinterview with the teachers,the author found that the mind map in the use of the following advantages: for teachers,the mind map is beneficial to the optimization of teaching design,the improvement of the knowledge structure,and the formation of a good teacher-student relationship.For students,mind map can improve learning interest and test results,optimize the way of taking notes,straighten out the knowledge context and cultivate thinking ability,etc.At the same time,there are still some problems in its application,such as:students' lack of understanding of mind map,weak drawing skills,low consciousness of using mind map,some teachers' understanding of mind map is not in place,teaching concept needs to be updated,and the formalization of using mind map,etc.Finally,in view of the above problems,the author puts forward the following improvement measures: first,students should correctly understand the mind map;second,improve students' drawing skills;third,improve students' consciousness of using mind map;fourth,teachers should understand mind map scientifically;fifth,teachers should renew their teaching concepts;sixth,enhance the effectiveness of teachers' use of mind map.It is hoped that these measures can improve the current situation of mind map in the review of morality and rule of law,and provide some references for the future application.
