Mind mapping is a tool for Tony Bozan to develop the potential of the brain.Under the current educational modernization background,both teachers and students need to development.On the one hand,there are some problems in the teaching of moral and the rule of law in junior high school.Interest in learning of studengts is not high.Some teachers still use the "full house" teaching method,neglecting students' subject status in moral and rule of law classroom teaching,etc.These problems hinder the two-way development of students and teachers.On the other hand,junior high school students enter the thinking in the stage of formal operation.Abstract logical thinking began to develop,and the desire for knowledge and exploration was further strengthened.They were more interested in some novel things.At this stage,the application of mind maps to teaching can stimulate students' interest in learning and enhance students' concentration.Students can use mind maps to build knowledge networks,develop memory,strengthen thinking activities,cultivate innovation,and teachers can use mind maps organize teaching and reflect on it after class to improve teachers' professionalism.The junior high school moral and rule of law curriculum standards point that the ideological and moral course is a comprehensive course based on the life of junior high school students,with the fundamental purpose of guiding and promoting the development of ideological and moral education of junior high school students.It is ideological,humanistic,practical,and comprehensive.It can be seen that the cultivation of students in the course of morality and the rule of law lie not only in knowledge,but also in skills and ways of thinking.It integrates knowledge,skills,emotional attitudes and values in teaching.Mind maps mimic the form of brain divergence.In the process of drawing mind maps,students not only master knowledge but also exercise their divergent thinking skills,which is a reflection of the nature of the moral and rule of law curriculum.Combined with theories of brain science theory,cognitive psychology theory,and Marxist philosophy's view of connection and development,it provides a theoretical basis for the application of mind maps to the teaching of moral and rule of law in junior highschool,and analyzes the connotations and characteristics of mind maps.Focusing on the two key words of "mind map" and "junior high school moral and rule of law teaching",from the perspective of teachers and students,the importance of applying mind maps in moral and rule of law teaching is explained.Then we design a junior high school moral and rule of law teaching design plan based on mind maps,clarify the principles that mind maps should be applied to junior high school morals and rule of law,and from the teaching organization form,we discuss how to use new lectures,review courses,and lectures.Mind maps provide some suggestions for the application of mind maps to junior high school moral and legal teaching design.Finally,based on the mind map,the junior high school moral and rule of law teaching design is used in teaching practice.According to practice,questionnaires and interviews,the effect of applying mind maps to junior high school moral and rule of law teaching is analyzed.Research shows that the application of mind maps to junior high school moral and rule of law teaching is effective,that can stimulate students' interest in learning moral and rule of law knowledge,promote cooperative learning among students,assist teachers' teaching,and achieve mutual growth between teachers and students.
