The modernization of the education governance system and governance capabilities has placed higher demands on school governance.Perfecting the school governance structure,improving school governance capabilities,and enhancing the effectiveness of home-school cooperation require the participation of multiple subjects.However,according to social news reports,a series of problems have arisen due to unclear responsibilities after parents participate in school education,which is not conducive to the modernization of school governance.Therefore,the author focuses on the research on the boundary of responsibility for home-school cooperation in school governance,hoping to provide reference for the practical work and theoretical research of home-school cooperation in primary school.The article takes the public primary schools in District C of Shanghai as the research object.The research methods used are literature research,case analysis,interview method and questionnaire.Mainly qualitative research,using grounded theoretical analysis.The research question is what is the current status of home-school cooperation of public primary schools in District C of Shanghai in school governance? What is the manifestation of the boundary of responsibility for home-school cooperation? How can the main body of home-school cooperation weigh the boundaries of responsibility to improve the degree of home-school cooperation,and then enhance the governance of school capacity?The study found that the manifestation of the responsibility of the cooperation subjects of the public primary schools in District C of Shanghai is generally good.Both home and school value family education and support home-school cooperation.There are various ways of home-school cooperation,and the overall effect is good.In most schools,the boundaries of home-school cooperation responsibilities are clear,and the specific manifestation is that both home and school have consistent goals and clear division of labor.Formed an education partner and discussed together.The roles of parents and teachers were exchanged to enhance understanding.However,the boundaries of responsibility for home-school cooperation in a few schools are unclear.The specific manifestation is school-led and guides not enough.Unclear responsibilities lead to excessive interference by parents.Lack of participation due to limited parental abilities.The main reason for the unclear boundary of home-school cooperation responsibility is the imbalance of school-led cooperation status and the imbalance of parent-led participation.Finally,from the aspects of responsibility boundary and home-school cooperation,the author puts forward suggestions on how the main body of home-school cooperation weighs the boundary of responsibility,and then improves the school governance.
