The Research Of The Evolution Of Internet Public Opinion From The Process-Event Perspective

In recent years,with the development of new media technology,more and more social events have caused heated discussions among public opinions through emerging platforms such as short video,live broadcast,WeChat and weibo,forming network events.Online events are becoming more and more common,which have a significant negative effect on social stability,harmony and tranquility.Academic research on online events is relatively concentrated,and there are more studies on the evolution cycle of public opinion,internal causes of public opinion and the role of media,while there are relatively few studies on the role of we media,mainstream media,the public and the government in each stage of public opinion evolution.This paper takes zhai tianlin's academic misconduct event as a case,USES the process-event analysis method,and tries to observe and study each behavior subject in network event from a dynamic and non-institutionalized perspective.In the research process,the methods of web crawler,online public opinion data platform and network observation were used to capture the media and mainstream media report contents,public comments and other materials,and case analysis and text analysis were used to study the materials.The study found that the attention of social media and "we media" was an important factor in the formation of public opinion,the intervention of mainstream media promoted the expansion of public opinion,the public pushed public opinion into a high tide through carnival onlooking and emotional protest,and the response of the units involved and the authorities was conducive to the active elimination of public opinion.According to the study,we media,social media,mainstream media,government and relevant units should take correct measures to deal with online public opinion events,and citizens should constantly improve their network media literacy to build a harmonious network society.In this paper,the research on Zhai Tianlin's academic misconduct events enriches the case base of the research on online events.The method of sociological analysis is adopted to carry out interdisciplinary research,showing the occurrence and evolution mechanism of public opinion in a detailed and clear way,and further enriching the research on public opinion in the field of journalism and communication.At the same time,the contents studied in this paper reveal the characteristics and laws of the evolution of online public opinion,which helps us have a clearer and accurate understanding of online events,and is conducive to dealing with public opinion in the new media environment and constructing a good social order.
