The connotative development of higher education is the forward direction of China's higher education development at present.The construction of first-class majors has become the focus of the connotative development of higher education in China.The pedagogy major in ordinary undergraduate universities has a long history,and will face new development opportunities in the new historical situation.This paper takes the pedagogy major of ordinary undergraduate universities in Hebei Province as the research object,and focus on the allocation of the educational resources of major,using the data of the national higher education normal monitoring data platform to evaluate the allocation of educational resources of pedagogy majors in ordinary undergraduate universities in the province.The comprehensive evaluation research results will help to explain the current situation and future development of the allocation of the educational resources of pedagogy major in ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities in Hebei Province,and strive for more financial resources and policy support for pedagogy major in the construction of first-class undergraduate majors and the adjustment of the structure of majors.To provide a reference for the public to choose a major in education.This research is carried out under the guidance of comprehensive evaluation theory.Quantitative evaluation method and data envelopment analysis method are used to evaluate the allocation and the efficiency of the educational resources of pedagogy major.Through quantitative evaluation,we obtain the overall ranking results of the stock level of the allocation of the educational resources of pedagogy major of ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities in Hebei Province and the five-dimensional specific situation analysis.Through the efficiency evaluation,we obtain an analysis of the overall technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency,scale efficiency,and input redundancy and inadequate output of invalid decision-making units in the allocation of the educational resources of pedagogy major in ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities in Hebei Province.At the end of this paper,in view of the problems summarized by the comprehensive evaluation results,the countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the allocation of the educational resources for pedagogy major in ordinary undergraduate universities in Hebei Province are put forward: first,adjusting the direction of the allocation of the educational resources for major in accordance with the goal of talent training;second,broaden funding channels and increase investment in educational resources for pedagogy major;third,integrate the educational resources for pedagogy major and implement a regional resource sharing system;and fourth,reform the management system and improve the technical efficiency of the allocation of educational resources for pedagogy major.
