With the increasing number of people learning Chinese,the feature of learning Chinese at a younger age is becoming more prominent.For adult Chinese teaching that is more in-depth research,the study of Chinese teaching for young children needs more attention from scholars.Based on the one-year educational internship in the kindergarten of Sekolah Terpadu,Indonesia from 2018 to 2019,the author based on the experience of teaching Chinese to children aged 3-5 years in small and middle classes,and explored the characteristics of Chinese teaching in children.This article is divided into the following five parts,In the first part,the author briefly introduces the source of the topic,the purpose of the research,and the significance of the research,then reviews the current situation of research on Chinese teaching for children in Indonesia and other regions,and finally introduces the research methods of this article.In the second part,the author summarizes the teaching status of the Kindergarten from the teaching content of teacher and student curriculum.The third part is also the core part of this article.The author selects three typical teaching cases of Chinese knowledge,Chinese skills,and extracurricular activities teaching,presents the real situation of the current Chinese classroom for children,and analyzes and reflects on the cases.In the fourth part,the author reflects on the current teaching situation,teaching cases,and Chinese-related activities in the entire Kindergarten,and finds out the advantages of Chinese teaching for children in the Kindergarten and the shortcomings of continued correction.In the last part,the author puts forward practical suggestions for the above teaching status.Sekolah Terpadu Kindergarten is an authoritative Chinese school in Indonesia.The various problems in Chinese teaching are also reflecting the current situation of Chinese teaching in Indonesian children.Through the analysis of the Chinese teaching in this kindergarten,the author hopes to provide reference for the Chinese teaching of children in the future.
