In order to promote the construction of a strong sports country and improve the development level of sports,the general office of the State Council issued the outline of building a strong sports country in August 2019,which pointed out the direction for the reform of sports teaching.Basketball,as a key subject of Wuhan Institute of physical education,has been continuing up to now,but with the deepening of education and teaching reform,it puts forward new challenges and new requirements for the general basketball teaching.It is necessary to adjust the general basketball teaching.This paper adopts the methods of literature,experience summary,comparative analysis,interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics,SWOT analysis,multi angle and multi vision to investigate the current situation of the general basketball teaching in Wuhan Institute of physical education,analyzes the relevant factors affecting the general basketball teaching,and puts forward the general basketball teaching reform in Wuhan Institute of physical education based on the advanced general basketball teaching theories at home and abroad Countermeasures and paths of the reform:1? The main factors that affect the general basketball teaching of Wuhan Institute of physical education are: Wuhan Institute of physical education has a long history.After more than 60 years of development,it has accumulated a solid faculty,a solid material foundation and a complete teaching management system,which has laid a solid foundation for the reform and development of general basketball teaching.At present,Wuhan Institute of physical education has developed from a single physical education college to a multi-disciplinary comprehensive college,and the student group has also changed from a single structure to a multi-dimensional structure.The proportion of cultural students is growing,showing the characteristics of "non sports".The current goal of general basketball teaching is still to focus on "technology".Compared with the past,the number of hours of basketball general course is significantly reduced,but the teaching content has not been adjusted accordingly.The current teaching evaluation method is still the summative evaluation method,and the evaluation index system does not really reflect the overall performance of students.Generally speaking,basketball activities are less developed,monotonous in form and low in overall level,which can not meet the needs of non Sports Majors' basketball activities.The function of basketball has not been effectively integrated into the general basketball teaching,which has a long way to go for the cultivation of students' sports humanistic spirit,psychological quality and social adaptability.2? Adjustment of teaching objectives: we should mainly guide students to participate in basketball teaching activities,mainly stimulate students to participate in interest,make basketball become the normal way of students' physical exercise;give full play to the function of general basketball teaching,cultivate students' comprehensive quality,and improve their social adaptability.3? Improve the teaching strategy: build a "integrated in and out of class" general basketball teaching mode,adhere to the organic combination of in class teaching and extra-curricular guidance;build a "integrated in and out of class" network teaching management platform,enrich the teaching forms,test the teaching effect;set up an extra-curricular basketball joint Department of non physical education departments,integrate the teaching resources and activities of general basketball,organize and guide non physical education Professional colleges and departments carry out basketball activities to improve the level of basketball on campus;establish a basketball teaching evaluation system combining formative evaluation and summative evaluation,improve the evaluation standards,and make their advantages complementary.4? Give full play to the function: take the basketball general course teaching as the carrier,train the basketball humanistic spirit and exercise the physical psychological quality throughout the whole process of the basketball general course teaching.In the framework of "Student League",let students participate in activities as "social people",cultivate students' ability to adapt to society;change the concept of business sponsorship,improve the operation level of campus basketball games,and improve the social effect of general basketball teaching.
