With the rapid development of our country's economy and the aging of the population,how to improve the health status and quality of life through effective means for middle-aged and elderly people is getting more and more attention from the government,society and every family.In this article,by investigating the individual demographic characteristics of middle-aged and elderly people participating in Health Qigong exercise in Hubei Province,as well as the amount of Health Qigong exercise,the number of years of exercise,and the form of exercise,the relationship between participation in Health Qigong exercise and quality of life is explored.Provide reference for strengthening the health management and intervention of middle-aged and elderly people.This article surveyed the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people participating in Health Qigong exercises in Hubei Province by using the methods of literature,survey,and mathematical statistics.The questionnaire survey used the SF-36 scale and a self-developed questionnaire for individual demographic characteristics.Questionnaires were issued to 750middle-aged and elderly people in Hubei Province through online and offline distribution.There were 514 valid questionnaires recovered,with an effective rate of 71%.The following points were found through research: 1.The quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people participating in Health Qigong exercise was significantly higher than that of middle-aged and elderly people who did not participate in Health Qigong exercise.2.The age of middle-aged and elderly people participating in Health Qigong exercise has a certain effect on the quality of life,but the effect is not significant.The dimensions of physiological functions,physiological functions,physical pain,general health status,and general physiological health are inversely proportional to age,that is,the older the age,the worse the physical health status.3.The effect of gender on quality of life is not significant,but there are significantly more women than men participating in Health Qigong exercises.4.The level of education on the quality of life is not significant,but the level of education will promote people to choose a healthy lifestyle.5.The impact of marital status on quality of life is not significant,but the quality of life of the married and surviving spouses is relatively good.The quality of life of groups who are married in the mental health dimension and their spouses aresignificantly better than those of other marital status groups.6.The number of years of exercise has a significant impact on the quality of life,and is directly proportional to the quality of life,that is,the longer the number of years of exercise,the better the quality of life.7.There is a significant difference between the number of exercises per week and the quality of life,and it is directly proportional to the quality of life,that is,the more exercise the better the quality of life.8.There is a significant difference in the impact of the duration of each exercise on the quality of life,and the effect of exercise duration between one hour and two hours is the best.9.There is a significant difference in the impact of exercise forms on the quality of life,of which the quality of life of the groups participating in community organization exercise is the best.In the overall mental health assessment,exercise form is one of the most important factors affecting its mental health.The main conclusions are as follows: 1.The quality of life of the group participating in physical exercise is significantly higher than the group not participating in physical exercise.Among them,the quality of life of the group only participating in Health Qigong exercise is relatively high.2.Among demographic characteristics,women's participation in Health Qigong exercises is relatively high.Age has a significant impact on the quality of life.With the increase of age,the quality of life of the elderly shows a gradual decline,but participation in Health Qigong exercises can effectively alleviate the decline in quality of life caused by the age of the elderly.Although the correlation between quality of life and educational level is not high,the educational level of the groups participating in Health Qigong exercises is relatively high,and the educational level will promote people's choice of a healthy lifestyle.Good marital status has a good promotion effect on the mental health of middle-aged and elderly people.3.The amount of Health Qigong exercise has a significant impact on the quality of life.The number and duration of Health Qigong exercises are directly proportional to the quality of life.That is,the longer and more frequent the exercise,the better the quality of life for the middle-aged and elderly people who participate in Health Qigong exercises.Each exercise duration is best between 60-120 minutes.In the form of exercise,the quality of life of groups participating in communities and associations is better than those who exercise alone and exercise with friends.4.In physical health,the number of years of fitness Qigong exercise,the number of times of exercise per week,and the duration of each exercise have agreater impact on the physical health of the Health Qigong exercise group than demographic characteristics such as age and gender.Good exercise habits have a significant impact on physical health.Impact can effectively alleviate the decline in quality of life caused by demographic characteristics.5.In mental health,the amount,duration,and form of exercise of Health Qigong exerts more influence on the mental health of the Health Qigong exercise group than demographic characteristics such as age and gender.The influence of exercise form is significantly higher than the number of years of Health Qigong exercise,the number of weekly exercises,and the exercise time.Selecting good groups to practice Health Qigong together can effectively improve the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people.6.In the case of demographic factors such as age and marital status of middle-aged and elderly people,and social environment and other factors that are relatively stable,long-term regular exercise of Health Qigong exercises can effectively improve the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people.
