The new curriculum standard requirements for elementary school teaching have gradually evolved from focusing on mastering the “Two Basics” to mastering the “Four Basics”.thereby laying the foundation for the students' core quality and key abilities.This requires that education not only impart knowledge,but also carry out exploratory learning activities.Extracurricular activities have a positive impact on the combination of theory and practice,abstraction and generalization,broadening of vision and thinking.Therefore,through the combination of extracurricular activities and classroom teaching to achieve the teaching objectives.This paper mainly studies the design and implementation of elementary school mathematical extracurricular activities.Based on the research status at home and abroad,relevant theoretical basis,curriculum standards for elementary school students' training objectives,this paper mainly studies the elementary school mathematics extracurricular activities.The author uses interviews to understand the current situation and problems of mathematical extracurricular activities in the current teaching activities,and designs a questionnaire to understand students and parents' views and emotions on extracurricular mathematical activities.Furthermore,according to author‘s teaching experience and brainstorming method,The author collected and organized the mathematical extracurricular activities,designed and implemented cases,and finally reflected and summarized the impact of extracurricular activities on students.Through interviews and questionnaires,we learned that almost no mathematical extracurricular activities are carried out in the current teaching activities.The main reasons are: 1.Some teachers consider that the curriculum progress is tense and there is no time to carry out extracurricular activities;2.Some teachers lack recognition of extracurricular activities and do not know how to carry out activities.However,most teachers,students and parents agree that mathematical extracurricular activities in elementary schools are beneficial to student development.The significance and purpose of this study is to promote students' interest in learning mathematics,lay the foundation for the core qualities and key abilities of mathematics,and promote the development of "four basics" by promoting and carrying out extracurricular mathematics activities;so that teachers,students and parents can truly accept mathematics Activities and improve the ecological environment for students‘s learning mathematics;through the design and implementation of mathematics extracurricular activities,The author hope to have a certain impact and help on the frontline education and teaching behaviors.
