In today's era of globalization,the broad global perspective and the “international care”with the whole world in mind is the necessary quality for people to adapt to the development of the Times.Therefore,the education of world consciousness to cultivate students with “global perspective” has gradually been valued.And the history curriculum's reform of middle school in our country puts education of word consciousness education in an important position.This paper intends to study the "world consciousness" education in the history teaching of junior middle schools from the theoretical and practical aspects,which is of great significance.In addition to the introduction,the paper is divided into four parts:The first chapter mainly defines the concept of "world consciousness".On the basis of investigating the multiple definitions of "world consciousness" in the academic circle,this paper discusses in detail the connotation of the educational goal of "world consciousness" under the history curriculum standard of junior middle school.The second chapter analyzes the necessity and importance of world consciousness education from three perspectives: "The call of The Times","Historical inspiration" and "Realistic requirements".The third chapter focuses on the strategies to implement the education of world consciousness during world history teaching in junior high school,which mainly involves four aspects.First,we should actively explore and utilize different materials of the world consciousness education in textbooks,and take targeted measures in teaching practice to actively cultivate students' world consciousness.Second,we ought to integrate world history by means of relation and comparison in order to reflects the integrity and diversity of world history.Third,making good use of historical chronology and world history map to assist teaching is necessary.Fourth,we should actively cultivate the students' patriotism concept of "based on the local and global",guide them to walk out of the misunderstanding of patriotism-narrow nationalism and look around the world,at the same time,we should not forget to base ourselves on the local,feed patriotism with the world consciousness,and establish a correct patriotism concept.The fourth chapter takes the lesson of "Exploring New Routes" in the history textbook for the ninth grade junior middle school which was complied for general use by a specialist group of as an example to make a teaching design about implementing the education of world consciousness.Through the teaching design,the theoretical research is implemented into the teaching practice.
