In recent years,with the continuous change and update of science and technology in the world,the demand for talents is increasing all over the world.Since2016,China's education department has issued a series of policies to encourage grassroots education personnel to cultivate more innovative and advanced technical talents for national development,so as to prepare for the rapid development of the country.At present,a new type of education concept is emerging in primary and secondary schools--maker education concept,Its emergence is a reform of Education.However,at this stage,there are still big problems in the practical process,the most important of which is the contradiction between the professional development of maker teachers and the education system,which leads to the difficulty of the implementation of maker courses into the actual teaching work,unable to get more comprehensive and efficient development,limiting the innovation and growth of students.Therefore,in the face of this situation,this study summarizes the current research situation of maker education at home and abroad,and takes N city as an example,to study the development status of maker education teachers' profession in a more in-depth and targeted way,and to find a more standardized development path for maker teachers' Professional development according to the existing problems and reasons in the development process,so as to help the maker teachers' professional development Its development will be more sustainable.In the process of research,this paper uses the literature for reference to the research of maker teachers' professional development theory,and then selects professional maker teachers in n city to conduct questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to investigate the current situation of maker teachers' professional development in n city.The research mainly investigates the current situation of the professional development of maker teachers from three dimensions: professional spirit,professional knowledge and professional ability.Although the overall development of maker teachers is good,there are still some problems,among which the spirit of innovation and practice is relatively weak;the level of knowledge related to students is low;the ability to use classroom tools and teaching research is lacking.This research is based on the analysis of the reasons why the maker teachers are engaged,the difficulties of professional development,the forms of makerdevelopment,the professional training of teachers,the improvement of teaching ability,and the prospect of their own growth.From the teacher level,we should abandon the traditional education thought and change the maker education idea;enhance the individual innovation of teachers;improve the comprehensive skills of maker teachers;build a reward mechanism to encourage the enthusiasm of teachers.From the school level,it is necessary to standardize the implementation of maker courses,reasonably allocate maker space equipment,and actively utilize various educational resources.At the national level,it is necessary to issue relevant supporting policies for maker education;strengthen the attention to the development of maker education in areas with relatively backward education level;and increase the investment in maker education funds.Through the research,I hope it can be helpful for the professional development of maker teachers in n city,and also provide beneficial reference for the development of maker teachers in other regions of China.
