When massive open online courses(moocs)and their platforms swept across the online education landscape,education,academia and the Internet predicted that moocs would change education and ultimately the world.However,when the MOOC craze subsided,the low completion rate,poor content scalability and lack of interaction between teachers and students became prominent.As a solution to moocs' problems or their successors,therefore,small restricted online courses(SPOC)are the new darling of the new era of educational change.It combines many years of offline education resources of schools with large-scale online education experience by means of modern technology,and improves the completion degree and pertinence of online courses by integrating offline education and online education.This topic is based on the topic"design and development of SPOC courses for tourism in secondary vocational schools--taking" basic knowledge of local tour guides "as an example.In recent years,SPOC courses and its platform have been put forward according to the upsurge of development in China and the problems appearing in related teaching and research activities.Based on the analysis of the learning characteristics and learning ability of the secondary vocational school students in the pilot school,the data analysis of the questionnaire of the factors affecting the SPOC teaching mode,and the analysis of the learning objectives of the basic knowledge of local tour guides,the author carries out the basic knowledge of local tour guides in Manzhouli secondary vocational and technical school from the aspects of course construction,content design,course assessment,problems faced and solutions The design and development of SPOC course,and its application in daily teaching activities.After the completion of thecourse teaching work and the corresponding development and design experiment,the scientific course evaluation and testing methods are used to investigate the students' learning effect,and a questionnaire survey is conducted for each individual student to evaluate the experimental teaching mode from both the learning effect and the learning satisfaction.It can provide reference for the further optimization construction and reform of online courses.
