The purpose of the new curriculum reform is to cultivate students' key competencies and core qualities so that they will become a new type of innovative talents with comprehensive development.Experiment is the basis of physics,the link between students' life experience and new knowledge,and a good way to cultivate students' scientific literacy and innovative spirit.Incorporating teachers' self-made teaching aids into physics teaching can make insipid knowledge interesting and flexible,and can promote the development of students' practical ability and inquiry ability.Therefore,the self-made teaching AIDS are an effective carrier to practice the new curriculum standard.By consulting relevant literature,this paper analyzes the development and the current situation of self-made teaching aids at home and abroad to a certain extent,highlighting the necessity and feasibility of self-made teaching aids;then combs the definition,characteristics and the law of middle school students' psychological development,and summarizes the principles of designing and making teaching aids based on the Constructivist learning theory;and adopts interviews and case studies to obtain physics teachers' attitude towards self-made teaching aids,the situation of making and using self-made teaching aids,and the attitude of students towards physics experiments.Furthermore,it analyzes the shortcomings of low accuracy,easy damage and low openness of the current equipment for physical experiments,and the self-made teaching aids can make up for the above deficiencies properly.Based on the in-depth analysis of the teaching aids made by the author during the postgraduate study and internship,such as "parallel plate capacitor probe","gravity decomposition experiment","curve motion speed direction demonstrator",some insights and experience in the designing,making and using are gained.The author designs the teaching cases of "exploring the factors affecting parallel plate capacitors" and "gravity decomposition by effect",incorporating self-made teaching aids in the latter course,evaluates the students' attention,level deep learning and teaching effect,and discusses the teaching value of the self-made teaching aids.Finally,the conclusion of this article is stated.Teachers and students have a positive attitude towards self-made teaching aids,which can gradually improve the practical value of self-made teaching aids.Teaching aids are powerful guarantee of the teaching effect in the physics teaching,making the originally boring class lively.This paper involves some detailed cases of the designing and making of teaching aids,in order to provide reference cases for teachers,and to drive more physics teachers to join the team of self-made teaching aids.
