Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Development Of Sports Industry In Shanghai Based On Grey Relational Analysis

The sports industry is a new growth point for Shanghai's economy,and it is an important support for Shanghai to improve its soft power and attractiveness.Clarifying the key factors affecting the development of the sports industry in Shanghai,and exploring the potential difficulties in the development of the sports industry in Shanghai,are important measures to optimize the development path of the sports industry and accelerate the development of the sports industry in Shanghai.This thesis uses literature data method,mathematical statistics method,and logic analysis method to study the influencing factors of Shanghai's sports industry development after the analysis of the current development situation of Shanghai's sports industry.This thesis builds an index system of factors affecting the development of the sports industry in Shanghai based on the Porter diamond theory model,and uses grey relational analysis to analyze the data of each indicator from 2014 to 2018 and the value-added of the sports industry in Shanghai over the same period.Then,this thesis analyzes the results of mathematical studies and proposes relevant suggestions for the deficiencies in the development of Shanghai's sports industry.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows:Firstly,Shanghai's sports industry has developed rapidly,and its industrial scale,consumption scale,market scale,and employment scale have continued to expand.Secondly,based on the Porter diamond model,this thesis constructs an index system of factors affecting the development of the sports industry in Shanghai.The index system includes 5 primary indicators and 12 secondary indicators.Thirdly,this thesis uses Grey Relational Analysis method to study the relationship between the 12 indicators and the added value of the sports industry in Shanghai.The results show that the ranking of grey correlation between the 12 indicators and the development of Shanghai's sports industry is as follows: added value of the cultural industry > the number of employees in the sports industry> per capita disposable income of urban residents> tourism industry added value > per capita GDP > accommodation and catering business turnover> operating income of sports companies> per capita sports area> wholesale and retail industry added value> proportion of people who regularly participate in physical exercise> actual amount of sports lottery charity fund> per capita consumption of sports.Fourthly,through the analysis of empirical results,this thesis finds that Shanghai's sports industry is closely connected with related supporting industries,and the development of Shanghai's sport industry has some problems such as the endogenous development momentum is insufficient.Fifthly,the development of Shanghai's sports industry should focus on accelerating the integrated development of the sports industry;strengthening the support of industrial talents;stimulating the vitality of residents' sports consumption;enhancing the competitiveness of the sports market;improving the network of sports infrastructure;and improving the level of government sports services.
