On March 23,2016,the State Council agreed that National Tourism Industry Development Plan was included into the national "thirteenth five-year" key special planning.This was the first time during the development of China's to urism industry,which fully embodies that the CPC Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the development of tourism industry.Afterwards,many governments introduced "thirteenth five-year period" Tourism Industry Development Plan with local characteristics to facilitate the smooth progress of national “thirteenth five-year" Tourism Industry Development Plan.The evolution of tourism requires more higher-quality professionals,including highly educated theoretical researchers or first-line workers with middle and high-level education.Therefore,all levels of tourism professional institutions sustain great responsibility to deliver more high-quality talents into tourism market.Talent training is inseparable from teaching.Diversified and targeted teaching methods are more helpful to explore the potential of students,thereby improving their comprehensive quality and competitiveness from different levels of education.This article takes the hotel service and management major as the research point inste ad of comprehensive tourism major,since the hotel service and management m ajor is a very representative branch of tourism major,which is very demanding for graduates' business skills and boasts huge market demand.At present it is prevalent that the graduates' hands-on ability is poor and they grasp working skills in practice very slow.Combined with the teaching objectives of hotelser vice and management major and taking the elementary developed area in the hotel industry,Shenyang,as an example,the paper focuses on the practical training in college.It uses the comprehensive analysis,questionnaire survey,individual interviews,etc.,for different participation roles,in order to find college practical training problems of Shenyang hotel service and management,analyze the reasons and put forward the targeted corresponding initiatives and recommend ations.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction and the next is research basics of intramural practical teaching of the hotel service and management major.The third part is status quo of intramural practical teaching of the hotel service and management major in Shenyang,followed by measures for problems existing in hotel service and management major.The final part is research limitations and prospects.Among them,the fourth part is the core of this paper.Through the collection and arrangement of relevant information and the contents of the interview,the author summed up corresponding measures,in order to provide a reference for the development of intramural practical teaching of hotel service and management major in China's most areas where the development of hotel industry is at the preliminary stage.
