"Red Culture + Educational Tourism " has become a new education mode for middle school students.Red Educational Tourism can not only enable students to inherit red genes in the process of searching for red footprints,but also develop tourism resources,promote the economic development of the old areas,and fight the hard battle against poverty in the old areas.This paper chooses some junior middle school students in Jiangan District of Wuhan City,Hubei Province as the research object.By using the methods of literature analysis,interview,questionnaire survey and case analysis,and on the basis of a comprehensive understanding of junior middle school students' perception and needs of Red Educational Tourism in Jiangan District of Wuhan City,the influencing factors reflected in the survey results are systematically analyzed,and the corresponding development countermeasures are put forward.Other regions can effectively carry out Red Educational Tourism to provide reference.In this paper,interviews and questionnaires were used to conduct research.350 questionnaires were distributed and 316 questionnaires were recovered,with a recovery rate of 90.2%.The survey found that:(1)As far as cognitive level is concerned,junior high school students' awareness of Red Educational Tourism is in the middle level,and the students of demonstration schools have higher awareness of Red Educational Tourism than those of ordinary schools,and the students of municipal demonstration schools have lower awareness than those of district demonstration schools.(2)As far as participation is concerned,junior high school students' participation in red tourism is not high as a whole,and the participation of students from demonstration schools is higher than that of ordinary schools.One reason is that students are burdened with schoolwork or don't know much about Red Educational Tourism.The other is that schools have not done enough to promote Red Educational Tourism,which has not attracted enough attention from students and parents.(3)According to junior high school students' demand for red research tourism,their motivation is mainly to "improve their independent life and interpersonal skills" and "increase their social experience".Travel expenses,urgent learning time and interest in travel content are the main factors affecting students' red research tourism.Students are more inclined to plan their own route of red research tourism and become the main tourist body.。In view of the problems found in the above research,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Enhancing the students' ideological awareness of Red Educational Tourism.Do a good job in publicity of Red Educational Tourism activities,strengthen patriotism educationof junior high school students;(2)enrich the content of research travel activities.Designing reasonable high-quality routes,researching and developing scientific characteristic practice activities,perfecting the construction of Red Research Base;(3)strengthening personnel training and service upgrading.Improve the knowledge level of Red Educational Tourism Talents,improve the service quality of Red Research Base,and enhance teachers' awareness and level.(4)Perfecting the construction of security system.We should improve the construction of the Red Educational Tourism System,promulgate corresponding preferential policies for Red Educational Tourism,and strengthen the security of Red Educational Tourism.
