At present,China's educational reform has entered a period of deepening development.As an innovative mode combining research learning and tourism experience,research and study travel has become a hot topic in contemporary research since 11 departments including the ministry of education issued opinions on promoting research and study travel of primary and middle school students.Geography is a subject that studies the relationship between man and land.It is both theoretical and practical,and it is an advanced subject to carry out research and study travel.However,the current research and study travel course system in China is not perfect,and there is a lack of suitable teaching mode,which leads to problems such as students' "emphasis on travel and light on study",and poor implementation effect of courses."5E" teaching mode has its own characteristics of inquiry,autonomy,activity and scientific nature.It is a teaching mode suitable for senior high school geography theme research travel,which can improve the research travel course system,solve the existing phenomenon of "heavy travel and light learning",and improve the quality of "research and learning".Therefore,this paper studies how the "5E" teaching model is applied to high school geography theme research travel.In this study,literature research method was adopted to determine the research topic.Taking xiamen no.10 middle school as an example,questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the current situation of research travel and "5E" teaching mode,and statistical analysis was applied to further conduct statistics and analysis of the results.After that,the strategy of applying the "5E" teaching mode to senior high school geography theme research travel is constructed,which is the key content of this paper.It mainly includes: applying the "5E" teaching mode flexibly in stages;Pre-travel application strategy;The application strategy in the row;Apply the policy after the line.Finally,through field investigation and action research,the author conducted research trips on "exploring the" water world "of xiamen island and" location conditions of wuyi rock tea ",and verified the operability of the strategy through specific teaching practice.This study is of great significance to perfect the research and study travel course system,improve the overall implementation effect of research and study travel,realize the "accomplishment" education of geography course,and realize the general goal of cultivating people with virtue.At the same time,it also provides a beneficial reference for the development of high school geography theme research travel,and provides an example for the application of "5E" teaching mode in high school geography theme research travel.
